Well Michele, I wouldn't do it openly in the Jury waiting room. Like Scatterbrain, I did it on the Q.T.. I think I would call to ask, from a phone not yours of course! 
I didn't bother because I was sure I could just go to the smoking area. Who knew it would be raining in the morning? We always get rain in the afternoon..like clockwork Guess the clock needed winding!
