I've spent the last few days stoned out of my gourd on Vicodin while I wait to get fluid drained from my knee so they can decide if I need surgery. I've noticed that if I vape with the pain killer fresh in my system I only can get about ten to fifteen drags in before I get nauseous to the point it feels like I'm having a nicotine OD. I'm vaping the same 24mg juice that I chain vape normally, and If I wait a couple hours after taking my pills I'm good to vape again. I've never had this problem with analogues and smoked a couple yesterday with no ill effects other than the horrid taste. Has anyone else had a similar experience or have any idea what might be causing it?

Have you tried decreasing the amount of nicotine you use for the first hour or so after taking your pain medication, say maybe cut the nicotine down to 12 or 18mg/ml during that first hour or so? It's possible that the combination of pain medication and nicotine at that level are not getting along. Remember that with cigarettes you also get alot of other chemicals that are designed to fool the body into thinking what it's inhaling is not harmful to you, in effect dulling the sensory centers of the brain to the harmful toxins in smoke.

I have a prescription for the vicodin for the pain associated with my kidney disease. I have not had any issues yet with the vaping while on them but, I have had issues with the pain killer by itself. I am not sure what causes it but I have had the vicodin cause me to faint and wake up on the floor. This, luckily does not happen very often (and it has been a few years since it happened last).......I guess a lot of variables go into how it affects one.
