Looks like i started vaping about a year or so too late. I started vaping back in October. In January I started to get pains in my side. well we poked and prodded did x ray's to no avail. 2 weeks ago I got a cat scan. did not look good. 4' mass in my left lung. got a biopsy Wednesday and we are waiting on the lab work to confirm but it looks malignant. So a new chapter in my life awaits me and new challenges.
Not really feeling much now except short of breath (seems the tumor is wrapped around the bronchial tube) just the pain in my side. So it would seem we caught it really early. the question I have in mind is have any other forum members gone through this and can you offer any sage wisdom and or advice?

Surround yourself with plenty of friends and family and know they love and support you, they are trying to comfort you and need love as well after hearing of your news, enjoy each day with them with plenty of hugs, tears and laughter and be strong.
Most of all, you can beat this, positive thoughts and healing wishes, from me to you!!

Today's news:
Thursday we go back to MD Anderson. they are doing like a needle biopsy. and putting in the chemo tube. While I have not fully be diagnosed with Cancer all the signs are there. The mass in my lung is the most concern right now. they can test it to see if that is where it all started. My pancreas is also showing some kind of activity and is my renal gland. it is fairly rare to get pancreatic cancer and even rarer for it to spread to the lung. but the needle biopsy will tell what kind of marker it has and where it probably started. I will be getting Chemo once every 3 weeks to start. to beat it all down they are not wanting to do any surgery right now.

You are in the best place possible. They saved my life over 8 years ago when no local doctor would do anything because I had a "weirdo" cancer. I would have died in a year without MD Anderson. The type of cancer I had "liked the lungs" and I had a highly suspicious spot. They tried to biopsy several times (FNA) but couldn't get it. It's still there with no signs of growth. I got lucky.

I met so many people there that pulled through some nasty stuff with MD Anderson's help. There's a reason why they are tops. They really do intend to "wipe out cancer in our lifetime".

I'm wishing you all the best.
