Here is my update. I bought 8mg from a smoke shope here and have been vaping pain free ever since. I have tried to be better at not vaping constantly as I was. This is such a huge relief. I can't tell you all how great it made me feel that so many of you took the time to give me good caring advice. I do have a dr appt coming up and will tell her what happened with my stomach pain. But so far so good. I am going to try and up to mg to 12 and see if it's ok for me. The 8mg is fine but I get a bit anxious sometimes. Thank you again for caring!!

Glad you've found something that works for you!! :)

Hope all goes well with the dr!

So, being ok at 8 mg... It sounds it was the high grade of the nic, after all...

If you are feeling a bit anxious here and there, the again, possibly upping your nic -just a bit- might help...

10-12 sounds might be the sweet spot for you...

Remember also that chain-vaping, in general might also translate into too much nic even at lower nic in some cases!

Glad for you... Also: Keep us posted on the doc's...

=)

I had all kinds of freaky problems with nic when I started vaping. One thing you can try, if you're willing to risk it is to carry some 24 and the means to drip. If you get anxious or find yourself sucking on the PV like a fiend, drip 3 drops of the 24 then go back to the 8. It'll take a few minutes but, it'll calm you down for quite a while. Hopefully it won't be enough to aggravate the problem.

I still think there's something else going on. I'm glad you're going to see a doctor.

I'm not a doctor but i play one on TV.

You may have acid reflux or indigestion or a stomach ulcer.
Vaping could be the cause. We are always inadvertently sipping on a pretty caustic liquid constantly.
However stomach pain could indicate something more serious.
Consulr your doctor if your stomach pain worsens or continues after discontinued use.

... this public service brought to you by Pfizer.
I think this is right. You have something going on in you stomach. The nic is irratiting it. You should not have this much pain. You should have it checked out. Could be acid reflex to. Try an over the counter acid reducer to see if it helps.

I also started getting pains 6 months after I started vaping. I saw a couple of Doctors for it. The pain started in my left side and a week later I thought I had a serious bladder infection or even a STD. Doctors tests showed no infections, Yeah!

Turned out to be my first Kidney stones!!
Reading on PG, it can be a little dehydrating. So drink lots of water :)

I started to drink more water, which I admit I wasn't getting enough of, and I soon passed a few dozen rounds of little stones. Doctor has suggested the stones lodged in my bladder emulating the pain of an infection. The pain in my left side and the track down to my bladder all went away.

If I chain vape anything higher than 12mg nic. I will get chest pains. Also my throat gets sore with high pg juice. Had a friend that quit vaping because of indigestion from vaping. Told him it was probably the high pg juice and the flavor he liked which was Mt dew which is quite an acidic flavor. Could have been the flavor you liked as well.

Likely to much nic, bad juice or inadvertent ingestion of ejuice.

Could also be a sensitivity to PG (note: there is no such thing as a PG "allergy").

You may also be harboring parasitic extraterrestrial life forms, in which case you should contract Sigourney weaver asap.

Drop the nic to 18, use VG based juice and get an atty that doesn't leak.

Also: see a physician.

Vaping since: a while
Cigarettes avoided: lots
Money saved: probably not
Devices: Yes

Yes, stomach pain and back pain can be stones, which after drinking lots more water than you normally used to, will help dislodge and pass the stones. Long story short, when it happened to me, my Dr. told me that he sees more people who pass stones during warmer months because they start drinking more water from being hot etc. Makes sense!

i'd like to say to the OP that even if it turns out Vaping anything is the the cause of your stomach pains, I would continue doing it because even the worst cramps don't compare to what you're going to face later on if you continue with analogs. It's about picking the lesser of two evils, ya know.

This morning I got ejuice in my left eye for the very first time, while blowing out an atty, and while I was flushing my eyeball out with water for almost an hour I couldn't help but wonder if I should be vaping because atleast I don't risk going blind lighting up an analog, lol.

I wish you well my friend and hope you find anything that will keep you from using analogs.

Manage your acid better. I take enzymes, drink a apple cider vinegar beverage that actually balances acid, take herbal supplements and drink ginger juice. Watch your diet and eat well.

Ejuice definitely does something to IBS sufferers and IBS is known to cover the entire digestive system, from a globus sensation, heartburn all the way down to your exit hole. It changes the acid content in the stomach imho, calls for more when you're heavily vaping and what you end up with is indigestion when you haven't eaten.

Lower your intake, I'm down from 30 to 5-6 strength. Keep your carts/atty's new, the second they lose flavor toss them. The burned carts where you're trying to get a few additional days from them, make my system feel terrible.

I have a friend at work who had a terrible bout with kidney stones - he was told by his doctor to drink apple cider vinegar, but organic, the kind you can get at a health store. I forget the reason why the organic is special (I think he said it is the way it's absorbed by the body, what ever), but he swears by it.

Hi totolost,

I too am no doctor and of course it’s always a good idea to rule out the contributing factors that have the most serious implications. That said, I have to disagree with those that feel that there is ‘no way’ that your issues are due to e-juice. From my own experience, I have to disagree with the opinion that the juice absolutely cannot be the cause. While I am a mild sufferer of IBS, I have experienced a host of varying, different issues/side-effects from e-juice alone. My feeling is that it’s not always the VG or the PG that’s the culprit, but rather the flavorings? or other additives? that seem to cause the issue. I say this because after trying several juices from known-to-be-good, reputable juice manufacturers, they all had widely varying effects on me. And even though many claim to only contain this or that, I still feel that many are 'doping' theirs with additives to make them produce more vapor, throat hit, flavor enhancement, etc.

So in my mind, and in my experiences, it’s all about the particular e-juice you’re using. I don’t feel it’s like just picking out a particular flavor or brand like you would with cigarettes, which seem to all have the same effects on most everybody. Rather, think of it like the wild, wild, west out there. Many are out to make a buck and not all are concerned with any side effects, or have done any real, comprehensive testing. Also, there's not a lot of studies being conducted in general, so we don't really know yet, what is floating around out there and all of the effects of all the ingredients in them. I would try the cleanest e-juice you can research to be found, with the best, most serious manufactuing processes and/or certifications.

Just like so many other vapers, I have spent a ton of time, effort, and $$ researching things and have had to find my own way. Or at least ‘what works for me’. Not sure if it would help or just add confusion at this point, but if you can stand to read through my story, you can view it here:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/health-safety-e-smoking/331474-pg-vg-side-effects.html

If we all work together, we can make this work. We’re all worth it and it’s ‘our’ thing. I hope you can find ‘what works for you’.

Peace
