Oh BOY will I chime in here as this topic is right up my recent alley!!! On June 18th, I went to a periodontist and had NINE teeth extracted and the holes filled with "bone granules" (bone augmentation) in preparation for implants in a few months. Seven of the nine were all upper molars, and I began gently vaping a lowered nic juice (12 mg when I usually vape 24 mg) through the Nautilus on the widest open hole right after I got back in the car. I have continued vaping ... never missed a beat ... but just didn't use a straw or spit for the first 3 days. No dry socket here, and there was opportunity times nine for it to happen if it was going to. I went last week for my 1 wk post-op exam, and the periodontist told me "everything was healing nicely".

And THAT'S my dental experience as it pertains to vaping!

dude you need to vape at the lowest temp you can vape at and still be satisfied if you are going to vape, and yes like someone else said draw slowly. i got 2 dry sockets and that stuff HURTS even after taking 6 Vicodin

I don't know what's worse, the pain or the nasty stuff they put in the socket. It tastes sooo bad!

Huh... I have had dry socket before. I tell you the pain from abscess is infinitely worse. And don't even get me started on when your wisdom teeth are coming in crooked and cracking your molars... I would gladly suffer a dry socket before abscess or wisdom teeth pain again. I am getting all my teeth pulled due to lack of enamel on them. (Biological family was the same) Anyway I vape after getting extractions all the time and never had a dry socket from vaping... Mine was from absentmindedly sucking trapped food from the hole.
