I have been getting so much crap from family about my vaping today. the worst part is its all passive aggressive bs. How do you all deal with not going crazy from withdrawals during family events?

I stay away from the family by not attending the family function...lol
Eff em. Hopefully it's just one or two days of the year. Easy for me as all my family are non smokers. I threaten to light up a real one and that shuts them up. The jokes do get old though.
I avoid functions whenever possible. (Made easier since I moved 1500 mis away) and ignore the comments when I am there. I decided I dont care- and they get bored being passive aggressive if totally ignored and disregarded.
Just politely tell them their comments are not welcome - then blow huge clouds on their turkey.

Haha it never gets that bad. nobody in my family has the balls to be an aggressor. Its just very unpleasant because over the past few years my views on this world and what is important for my life is the exact opposite of what they would like me to do. It just sucks to be a part of a gathering where you can tell you are being constantly judged for your choices. Im pretty certain my parents view nicotine similarly to how they view crack ........
Its a typical story of "grad HS, go to college, fail out because you took some mushrooms and changed your views on the world, family calls you a life failure hopelessly lost in addiction." All while they drink alcohol and caffeine daily.
My Mom asked me to bring them another 180ml of their DIY menthol tobacco (by me) when we come over to devour the fowl carcass. Mom and Dad are 2 of my converts, so no worries.

Oh, and I dont even vape inside. they think its harmful second hand so I have to go outside. I tried to get them to read some research on e-cigs but they claim they already know everything they need to know to make an educated decision.
Just got done with thanksgiving meal and pulled out my PV and vaped at the table,, everyone was asking what that wonderful smell was.

Welcome to the people I will be with for the next two days. Worst part is is messed up my microcoil a bit during re wicking this morning so im not getting the most satisfying vape, and I have no kanthal with me. Rookie mistake
We had a "Jerry Springer Thanksgiving" and Im not making this up. Plates of turkey and trimming on my Aunts head (she deserved it) My Aunt and my Brother on the floor while he banged her head on the floor. Mom screaming, my little boys cowering around me. I had to call the Cops. My Aunt acting like an innocent victim, my poor Brother being taken to the Psych Hospital.
Lovely , fun and unforgettable day. Needless to say, havent had a big get together for a long time
The only family I have is my sister and her husband about 30 minutes away. Me and the wifey go there for thanksgiving and christmas every year, since they do it with her husbands family. Never heard from them about it today... guess its chili dogs and beer today!! :thumbup:

I never have to worry about it... No one says anything since they all end up at my house.
I'll just be sneaking to the bathroom to vape as it's a drinking holiday so I'll need to pee plenty I'm sure lol
