How do some people vape at higher wattage? I guess my question is a how and why of it...

I tried vaping higher than 7 watts but all I get is a burnt taste. I'm using the Kanger Protank 2.8 ohm coil and switch tanks with T3S which has the 2.2 ohm coils...

I've generally never gone over 7 watts but once in a while, I'll crank it up when trying new juices for the first time, so far, have not found a juice that doesn't taste burned if higher than 7 watts...

I am the same way.

I have Never used Any Setup where I liked the Taste I got with more than about 8 Watts.

But everyone is Different. And some people want a Hit that tastes More like Smoke than Vapor.

So is that burning taste the taste of the coil burning, or the juice being heated too high, or the wick burning because the vapor production is faster than the rate of wicking?

For a Silica Wick, the Burnt Taste is a sign that the e-Liquid isn't being replaced fast enough. So the e-Liquid Burns.

You can take a Silica Wick out of a Clearo or Atty and Blast It with a Torch. It will Turn Surface of the Sun Hot and Just Laugh at you.

It Takes a Lot of Heat to Melt Silica.
