'm still new vaping at work so how it will work out remains to be seen.
I was curious about other peoples experiences with vaping at work. So far.

I dont' drip but I do top off the cartridges at my desk.

I have two jobs the first I made the mistake of smoking totally wicked Virginia and the owner was sensitive to the Tobacco smell and said don't vape inside. I switched to Mint and am vaping inside when he's not there and he hasn't said anything.

At the second job I figure keep it low key. I take my normal break every 1 hour 1/2 make sure to top off and do some intense huffing.
Inside I'll covertly take a drag now and than when I think no one is looking or if I'm involved in paperwork and can't leave. I also make sure to inhale deeply so the vapor is absorbed into the lungs and little goes into the air, and no one has said anything
Fingers crossed.

I figure keep it low key and I shouldn't have any problems. Also I suggest avoid the tobacco blends at work because of my experience with the first job

Well, I've converted 3 of the 5 smokers at my workplace to ecigs, and the boss loves me for it. He was tired of customers complaining about everyone huddling outside the door to smoke, I think.

It's kind of funny/weird to be surrounded by so many e-smokers now. Instead of asking for a light or to bum a smoke, people ask for a top off, or a hit off my charging case. *laugh*

I work in a place that won't let people vape inside who use ecigs that look too much like analogs. Some of the people have the models that use an orange led and are the "natural" color. They have to go the the smoking section. I use a blue and a black 910 and have no problems, so far. The first day I brought mine in, I showed it to one of the upper management types and she got so excited about it, she asked me to send her a link to my vapor store so she could send it to her friends. I recently received a Blu starter pack that I originally ordered over a month ago and I ordered the "natural" looking one so will not be taking that one to work.

Oops, meant 901. Don't know what a 910 is.

I vape at work all the time. Although much of my vaping is in "Stealth mode" as I am in the air all the time. I do get a kick out of cathing a vape when fresh off a long flight while walking through the airport with the rest of the crew!

BTW, Could a mod for this forum possibly move this thread to the "ECig in Public" Forum?

unfortunately i work in a food product manufacturing plant where we have VERY strict GMPs (good manufacturing practices) i have not even introduced upper management to my device in any way as i would rather not have the attention drawn to what i'm doing , so my vaping is limited to outside or sometimes in the bathroom :)

Yeah, my toilet breaks at work take a little longer than they used to these days :)

Ahh! Nothing like opening a can of Hormel Chili and finding a bonus 901 atty in it!;)

I started out in stealth mode, but when I turned a co-worker onto PV's, he went around showing everyone... lol... No complaints! (I do work at a small engineering firm tho, and most here are pretty open minded - especially about something as geeky as an electronic cigarette). Neither of us have "realistic" models.

One thing I found tho while vaping at my desk I missed my smoke breaks, and I would revert to analogs just to go outside. Now, I'm working on a low-nic through a usb-passthrough at my desk, then a higher nic (and different flavor) on a battery for short trips outside.

...I think I'm a break-addict! :)

I'm one of the fortunate ones also that can vape at my desk all night! I think I now vape more than I ever smoked! :p My boss is really cool with it and I just ordered him one and another co-worker (510). I work at a casino that the customers can smoke on the floor, but employee's HAVE to go outside... kind of stupid. More co-workers are interested in trying one and now I'm starting to get a little scared of what I have done! LOL If more people start this at work, I'm scared that the head guy will make us go outside again.

I've had a lot of people ask me about my 510 at work and even supervisors have had positive responses to it, so we'll see!

I work for a school district and was told that we had to follow regular smoking rules/laws as they didn't want anyone to think we were smoking on school property. I'm not even talking about where children are but anywhere on school owned property. Period. Some parents get all bent out of shape if they think someone is smoking even if there is no chance a child could see it.

Eh, they cut my paycheck so I follow their rules.

I vape at work all day long. In my mobile office (the Medicaid Taxi) or in the dispatch office. My boss is supportive as long as not around patients, but I bet once UPPER management gets word, I might be kicked to the curb like every other "smoker".

I do have a defense ready since hospital policy states "Tobacco" and does not punish prescribed inhalers or patches, or nic gum. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

I also get to vape at my desk all day. Had such a great time at it I over did it. Backing off to 6mg while a work. LOL I work with a girl with VERY sensitive allergies. She's fine with it, Couldn't smell a thing. Everyone is very supportive, no one else in the office smokes. A couple of the guys do but they work out in the field and I don't see them much. If they find out, I'll be answering questions and passing out cards I'm sure!

I work in a drug store. Everyone I've told about my PV so far has been very supportive, but I still go outside to use it on the off-chance that I might offend someone. I really don't need someone to make an anonymous call to the corporate line and make a big deal out of it.

That said, I've snuck a few drags in the break room when no one was around. No one noticed. :p

I vape at my desk in the morning because I get there an hour or so before anyone else. For that hour, it's like old times. LOL

Later in morning and for the rest of the day, I steal a vape here and there when nobody is looking or when I go to the restroom. It was hard at first to break the mindset that a designated window of time must get set aside for a smoke break because the analogs keep burning whether one smokes them or not.
