Vaping BANNED from Covent Garden!

Just recieved this polite but curt email reganding e-cigarettes at The Roayl Opera House, Covent Garden!

Thanks for your email.
Firstly, thanks for asking about this before attending Don Giovanni.
I am sorry to say that our policy on electronic cigarettes
is the same as that for normal cigarettes and you are still required
to use it in the designated smoking area outside the building on Bow Street.
I know it is tough giving up smoking and wish you all the best with it -
you do see the benefits very quickly though.

Sooner or later people will figure out that vapers don't want to smell like a dirty ashtray anymore than they do.

I said it once and ill say it again. I quit smoking cause fear of health reasons, I didn't start vaping so i can be exposed to second hand smoke!!! I DO NOT SMOKE, I AM A NONSMOKER! DO NOT STICK ME WITH SMOKERS!

Sorry but hearing someone saying I have to go outside to a smoking area with smokers really pisses me off.

My thoughts exactly. I gave up cigs for my health AND because I can no longer tolerate the smell on myself. So why should I have to be subjected to same?

In situations like this, I just either stealth vape or use a restroom stall. Everywhere else I vape normally.

It's just like that in a world of haters i guess. If everyone gets over one fact of vaping they will just focus on another. ie. It's distracting, even it wasn't as distracting as the guy next to me that hasn't taken a bath in 2 weeks or forgot to wipe his ..... Or the lady on the other side that just came in and smells like she just chain smoked a carton of ciggs. Now thats distracting!!!! Not to mention the FOUL odor of whatever DIED up this lady's .... the other day when she cut one loose next to me.

Honestly I am ok with this. I don't want to get stuck behind some guy chain puffing on his ego during the middle of my concert, especially if its a flavor I dont like - lol.
