Changing you pg/vg to 100% either way is a little drastic. Do it in 25% increments. I do agree that it could be the fact that its your sense of smell coming back but then again (depending on how long you smoked analogs and how long you have been Vaping) it could be your taste buds going haywire. Not only do we smell with our noses but we actually taste with them as well and vice versa with your taste buds. Notice that when you have a head cold how food taste funny or there is no taste at all?

When I was smoking analogs and went to kiss my fiancé I use to put a breath mint in my mouth before hand. Now I don't have to... My experiences with my taste buds going haywire began 2 weeks after I started Vaping. My food tasted very salty and I mean VERY SALTY. My Mountain Dew tasted way too sweet as well as my tea and coffee. I started cutting way back on my salt, my dew intake and sugar in my tea and coffee. About a week later I began experiencing major dry mouth. My taste buds were craving the salt and sugar. That soon went away. Its not just your body that craves but your senses can crave too...

The taste and smell of your bad breath will eventually subside. You say you brush your teeth twice a day and see your dentist twice a year so I would imagine Gingivitis is highly unlikely. Give it time... That's all you can do. Your body does crazy things when it craves... The cravings and side effects of the analog DTs have just begun....

Funny how the mind and "free association" works....

Wbart's post "taste... back... mouth" rang a bell...

I have some juices that leave a taste at the back of my mouth. Those in question aren't a bad taste or smell to me, but maybe it's something like that? If so, a different flavor might be all that's needed.

TRY

1..drinking a lot of water daily cuz liquids dehydrate you and your mouth..

2..try another flavor

3...try another PG/VG ratio blend

other than that , not much U can do.....and like all said, maybe your sense of smell and taste are returning finally and now U notice these things more prominently..

When I started vaping I noticed I got extremely dehydrated. I workout on a regular basis and sweat like crazy, hydrate throughout the day frequently, and eat pretty clean; however, I still got pretty dehydrated and had to either lay off the vape and hydrate even more. This could be the cause of your bad breath.

Basically the same situation here. I also started carrying a tongue scraper around & I use that if i need to, and that helps with the bad breath. It goes away/gets better eventually though!

How long have you been vaping? Were you a smoker and if so, for how long? It's been said that smoking can mask a variety of dental problems, which only become evident after the smoker quits. Have you been to your dentist since the bad breath began? Many things can cause bad breath; consider all the possibilities. In the meantime, hydrate!

Thanks for all the replies! I'll the tongue Scrapper idea! Also I have been vaping 80pg/20vg so it sounds like a great time to try out some Gorilla Juice since that's 100vg!

If you have an asian market in your area you can find them there! The one i use is literally just a strip of plastic & cost $.25  They have them at target too, but they are bigger & cost more.
