was the nic drop by choice or because it was a MUST because it was effecting you

When I was vaping 24mg, it was just fine until I started vaping a lot, then I was getting way too much nic, and was having trouble sleeping at night. So I cut it down in half to 12mg, and that was just about right. I ordered a bit shipment of e-juice that when cut down took it to 9mg, and I figured since I was doing only 12mg at the time, it wouldn't be too much of a difference.

Now I am thinking about tapering down to zero nic within a couple of months, just so I can say I am nicotine free, and can pass the little nicotine test the life insurance company gives and get a reduced rate for being a non-smoker.

So a little of both. :)

I think, as a past smoker, I would have smoked cigarettes a foot long, if they didn't get in the way and break. I'd bet a bunch of us would have.

Therefore, my opinion, we were all cigarette fiends (in the closet) durning all those years we smoked--but didn't know it until we vaped.

I gotta agree with this 100%...I really did love the act of smoking. :(

Now I love vaping, but I seem to go through little phases of taking a few tokes an hour, then just going mental and blasting away on it for a few minutes...it's tasting better every day as well. :)

Same here. Found that I was vaping more than I smoked, so I cut my juice down from 24mg to 12mg, and I at least feel better about it. A coworker who smokes 3 (yes, three) analog cigs a day asked me "Will that thing make me MORE addicted to nicotine??" I had to say that I don't really know...

I vaped constantly the first month. I didn't notice it that much till i was at a party with friends and someone said "so do you ever put that thing down?" I replied " i smoked for 30 yrs 2 packs a day i quit in one day with this, I get to do this as much as i want". But after time i slowed down. I'm actually at times not vaping at times that were smoking triggers. Few days ago i woke up and it was almost 1 hour till i remembered i need a vape....with analogs that would never happen.

I vaped 5-6 milliters a day for 4 months or so. Eventually I got tired of the maintenance. I started leaving my ecigs at my computer desk and just taking various nicotine supplements along whenever I leave the house.

I could never even dream of operating this freely with the old-school cigs. If I had it to do over, the only change I would make would be to start vaping sooner:)

With the "more addicted to nicotine?" question, I would say probably yes. But what most smokers don't realize is that they are addicted to a large host of chemicals, not just nicotine. Cutting it down to just one substance is a serious breakthrough that makes dealing with it a MUCH simpler proposition, um IMHO.

I vape like a fiend, too. I found that I enjoy it, so I do it a lot. I did have to lower my nicotine level a LOT, though. I started at 24mg, and cut down to 9mg, and it's just about perfect for me.

Nice necroposting! :)

I was a very light smoker (3-4 light analogs like the previous poster's co-worker) but once I got the PV I'm vaping constantly. Using a roughly 12mg mix I'm probably doing at least half a pack now. Granted, a lot of that is trying to re-prime an atty or cartridge, since I'm addicted more to messing with these things than any actual chemicals.
