My Protank sometimes gurgles when the juice gets low. It's probably to do with the fact that I removed the silicone gasket over the wicks. It's supposed to seal to the air tube, but with it on the vape gets a little on the dry side. When it gets low, a little air probably gets in around the coil where juice used to infiltrate. I fill it up and the gurgling stops.

Yes! Your PV or Mod will behave differently with summer heat as opposed to winter cold. I live in a region where winter temperatures can reach the fifties (F) and summer temperatures can max over 100 (F). Cones covering atomizers, liquid mixes and wattage can make a difference. There is no way to get around it... experimentation and customization is the key. Good luck. There is no software or firmware to compensate for this this, yet.

I agree with Dave P here as I have a Protank as well. However, I also live in a very hot place (Houston, TX) and have been taking some different precautions here recently. When leaving the house during the day, I make sure I have 1 or 2 full tanks of juice (depending on how long I'll be gone for) and a fully charged battery for my mod. This is because I don't like to have any of my juice or my batteries sitting in the car getting extremely HOT while I am out and about. I had a bottle of juice change colors (turned red instead of basically clear) and a battery lose .5 volts from the heat, so now I am extra careful. If I do bring juice or an extra battery I leave them in my pocket so they don't get hot. Anyways, I know this is not much but these are the only "extra" precautions I take because of the heat.

I have 80/20 and 70/30 juices. At the moment Tribeca from Halo is my ADV but they don't provide the PG/VG ratio they use.

Upping the VG is on my list now! It makes sense and I wanted to try that anyway since it seems to be tastier as I understood from other threads.

Are there delivery systems that are better to use in hotter weather? I have some topcoil clearos but don't really like them much. Are cartomizers leak proof when it's warm?

I live in good, old Georgia, and it finally started getting real hot and humid this week. Yesterday, I was working out in the tool shed in 100o + humid weather. I kept my set up (eGo twist / Protank) in the shade, and it behaved just fine. However, I have noticed that nicotine and heat just don't really mix for me. Just too dang hot to have a vape. I noticed this with the analogs in my previous life as a stinkie as well. I've heard of people keeping a little cooler for their gear on the go just to be a little extra cautious, which is not a bad idea because I've also read about juice going bad from being out in the sun too long and making folks sick. Moral of the story here is to keep the gear protected and at the very least in the shade.

Be careful out there, vapers, and vape on, vape on.
