Vaping fishermen??

Anyone in the "same boat" so to speak?? I bass fish and fish some small buddy tournaments. Someone on the bass fishing forum I'm on posted about vaping and you would have thought he was caught boxing up fish for a tournament!!

It's easy to pocket a little tank setup for the day on the water, anybody want to share??

I haven't been fishing/spearfishing in quite sometime, but I imagine a Reo a little juice and an extra battery would weather those well. I quit diving and spearfishing because of smoking and now that my lungs are improving I would love to get back to it, I have plans to get all my gear serviced soon and back in operational order. Then I just need to get into some classes to get certified again, or maybe even do a little pirate diving as soon as my gear is good to go.

I am a die hard surfisherman and stay at the inlets for days at a time including overnights , the MVP is the only mod i bring with me , lasts and lasts and charges other devices like my MP3 player.

I take my smpl and a RDA in my tackle box. Can drop it in the water and just needs to be re-wicked and ready to go!

Someone gives me a hard time about Vaping on my own boat..........well

Haven't been able to go in over 2 years thanks to a work injury, buy I just packed up what I thought I'd need for the day, including a backup, in a water tight Plano.
Couple of Mechs and tanks and a few spare batteries.(rarely needed while fishing)

A Regulated is fine.............until it goes Splash. Even in 6" of water, wet usually=Toasted.

Took my REO clone into the water on the beach several times recently: performed like a champ. Figured I'd be out a battery if it dropped or didn't like the humidity.

IPV D2 matched with the STM has been my go to when out on the lake. Salmon fishermen must be a more mellow group because most seem interested and I converted a couple smokers.

I did for sure, it would take me ages to find it but I have posted that very picture on the forums. I am a huge fan of the show and when I noticed him carrying a mod after several seasons smoking I did a little research and found that. It was right after I started vaping that I noticed he had used tape on his weather gear to write "vape life" or something similar so I started paying attention to see if it ever showed him vaping.

The article posted with it on their site was crazy I think he said he was spending like $5k on smokes for each trip.

I go wading or kayak fishing in the Galveston bay often. Always bring a rta on a mech with a backup in the tackle box, & always glad I did - not 1 trip where my vape gear didn't get wet or dunked.
