After three full weeks of vaping with a total of six Majestic 900Mah Aro pen type vapes, two types of tips, three types of Ohm level atomizers, and various mix percentages of high, medium, and low nic with a VG cut I feel I can offer other newbies like myself a few tips you might find helpful.

If I had to compare the subtle variations and personal decisions needed to truly personalize your own individual vape preferences, I would compare this activity with it's variations on an equal complexity level to Fly Fishing.

In that hobby, sport, or whatever one might lable that particular fishing activity, one must first know what particular fish is to be attracted which of course changes what fly or artificial fly lure one would want to cast into the stream. While fly lures can't guarantee the size of the desired fish, the general rule is big baits attract bigger fish. Lastly, the best fishermen know to 'match the hatch' or put another way, to at least avoid casting strange or unknown to that particular stream fly lures that are totally foreign to the actual size, color, and swimming mimicry of the most known food the fish actually are feeding on in that particular stream.

What in the world does any of the above have to compare to vaping ? Fishermen can often get distracted . So intent to try their latest 'gimmick' lure they might forget it is not really a lure that will match the stream's natural food, natural size, nor mimics the action nor look of theprey that those particular fish are eating daily in that particular body of water.

The hundreds of flavored e-liquids , the amount of cloud produced by different vape units, the bells and whistles of some units that are essentually of less importance to some than they will be to other vapers are all subtle differences that can really cloud your original intent and primary reasons to stop analogs and switch to vaping in the first place.

Let's say your original intention to vape is simply to add a new experience to your smoking habits and to simply compare the ability of vaping to mimic much of the same enjoyment as your analog activity and amount smoked per day ... You then have the greatest of vaping freedom to experiment because analogs never offered you instant choice to reduce the strength of the very analog you are smoking at the time , nor the amount of tactile smoke your eyes enjoy as you exhale. Analogs never offer you instant taste changes and most certainly not such exotic tastes to experiment with .. so enjoy and experiment away !

Let's say however your original intention was simply to get the same amount of nicotine as you get with analogs, but you like the thought of getting it without the 7,000 plus chemicals and tars in tobacco and paper burning. This reason is in my opinion (and of course only in my opinion) best pursued for a while without distracting yourself by immediately experimenting with flavors at all. With nicjuice 36,24,18, cut with VG ,you have a clear clean fluid that lets you focus on the throat hit, the 'burn' the 'pepper' of nic dilution differences and without the false burn, bitterness, or smoothness of flavors that will tend to mask exactly how close to your original daily intake of analog nicotine you were recieving.

In my opinion , vaping is probably the first non analog way of creating a smoking problem that analog users never had before ... that is, this new and incredibly successful way of getting your daily nicotine can actually lure one into adding a challange that one never intended to pursue, the decreased intake of nicotine.

Not 'matching your nicotine hatch' so to speak, because you've been distracted to pursue flavors that you think will immediately end your need for nicotine at all is to my mind one of the first reasons so many suddenly run back to analogs after a month or so of vape experimentation ... they were simply fooled into being distracted by vape cloud density and vape taste and ignored the careful monitoring that nicotine levels were being either maintained or being reduced much more SLOWLY if stopping nicotine was now an added intention.

Always be certain you understand exactly that regardless of the many wonderful distractions that vaping has added including led displays and other fun bells and whistles you are always fighting one constant truth ... it is ultimately how much nicotine you are maintaining into your system or how carefully and slowly you are decreasing it ... this will determine success or failure.

My doctor gave me a hope as I have mentioned before by telling me that most medical professionals are much more worried at the WAY we get our nicotine (from tobacco and paper burning with it's 7,000 plus chemicals, tars, and carcinagens than they are of any negative effects of just Nicotine alone.)
