This is a milestone for me folks. Keep in mind, I’m so cheap I married a skinny woman because I knew the ring would cost less. And today I’m happy to announce that not only did I save on jewelry back then… now I can satisfy my nicotine addiction for under $35/month. Compare that to the $400 per month I was pending on fire sticks!

I sat up until the wee hours of the morning the other night and mixed me up a DIY batch that has weened me off that pricey pre-mixed crap I like so much. It costs mere pennies to make and I’d recommend other newbies here follow the advice of the ECF veterans here as I did.

Granted, half of my costs right now are for disposable clearomizers but I’m not quite ready for rebuildables which would save even more. I just want a cheap, economical and hassle free vaping experience.

Edit: DO NOT tell Mrs. Kodiak this awesome news! (She’ll want to quit that 3rd job I made her get).

I vape for under 20 bucks a months. Sometimes I have to force myself to buy something (last month) just so the wife is still used to seeing that money go out.
I am setting up an offshore account as we speak.

Sounds like it's about time for Mrs. Kodiak to learn to build coils with some of her free time!
Brilliant! She's off on Thursday's between 4 and 7! How long does it take?

Is it really that easy to get into? I've been thinking of trying to make my own batch of DIY but I'm kind of hesitant as time restraints with 2 kids and what not.

Actually yes its very simple to do and well worth it. As for the two kids just keep the stuff containing nicotine in a high place or preferably a lock box. Diy ejuice has become a hobby of its own to me. Just read up on your ingredients making sure you buy from a trusted source and always look for that USP logo before buying. The diy section is loaded with helpful information to help get you started.

Kodiak, when you feel ready to give rebuildables a try, you should check out a REO. The initial cost might give a cheapskate such as yourself heart palpitations, but after the initial investment (about half what you used to spend on smokes in a month) a reo + a rebuildable atomizer is extremely economical. Here is a link to one of the friendliest places on ECF Reos Mods

I was going to get into DIY and read a couple blogs that got me so confused, I just placed another order for ejuice. I'd love to figure out how to start without a ton of things to buy and the confusion of getting the taste with steeping. I'll get there one day. Today I cleaned and dry burnt my first coil for a PT mini2 and it works great. I was proud that it turned out like the video. Someday soon, I hope I'll get to DIY.

If you consider some of the pricier e-liquids sell for a $1 a ml, then you can save a lot of money fast! I have paid for juice maybe 3 or 4 times is all: is mine better - i'd not say that, but it's not bad at all and keeps me away from tobacco and that is what we are all here to do anyway.

And yes, it can be dead easy - anyone that can follow a recipe can make it.

Kodiak, way to go on the diy. I haven't pulled the trigger on that yet. After my initial start up and subsequent MVP, iTaste VV and a few a tank purchases, I'm set for gear. Yeah sure...I really want one of those (or two) IBT things and maybe that thing everyone says is heaven on earth - pro something.

Only way i can keep to my vaping budget is to leave ecf ! Its a catch 22 or something ! I bsolutely love this place and i absolutely hate this place !!!!!

I load my budget amount on a prepaid visa at the beginning of month. When it is out of money I am done shopping for the month. No exceptions. So if I want a big ticket item I have to save from month to month.
