hi @stokesy, from reading in the forums there are quite a few postings on "lung pain" and "heavy lung". If your e juice is heavy VG, it could be the cause of the lung issue most commonly known as heavy lung. Staying hydrated "water" can help. The nicotine level can also be an issue. I did a couple searches so you might look at and better describe your issue. It could be an allergy to something in the vape from flavors to the base of vg and pg.

The first advice is to go see a doctor. It could also be getting used to vape, especially if you are lung hitting as opposed to mouth to lung vape.

Hi,

Just brought a natilious mini but when i vape it really hurts my lungs so much so i have to stop after a couple of puffs and it takes about 15 mins for my chest to loosen again.

i am using 0.8 low strength liquid 70-30% split and battery voltage of 3.3 which is lowest.

Can any1 help?
How hard are you inhaling? If you're trying to do deep lung hits and there is too much resistance, that stresses your lungs. Until we know more, we can only speculate as to what's going on.

some flavoring contain chemicals that can irritate the lungs. the chemical use to replace diketones in cream flavors is one of them. I had a minor problem with lung pain after heavy exercise when I fist started vaping but switching to 50/50 pg/vg and lowering nicotine levels help. I think part of it was just my lungs clearing out after 45 years of heavy smoking. the problem cleared up completely after a couple of month of vaping.low resistance coils produce a hotter vape which can take some time to get use to as well

Let's start at the beginning w/some facts, before shooting off the hip here.

1) Is this your first time vaping, or have you previously vaped different ejuices that were 70/30 and 8mg eliquid?
2) Have you tried other flavors besides the one that is making your lungs hurt?
3) Are you sure you're not getting "dry hits" off the nautilus mini, i.e, you are getting vapor, not that burning sensation where no juice is getting to coils?

You're at a pretty low range so it really shouldn't be hurting your lungs like that. I think switching to 50/50 and lowering your nic to say 6 mg is a good place to start. Maybe try drinking some hot tea or ice water and don't chain vape or drag real hard constantly, if you do that. I've heard VG does cause problems for some people. I looked into this thread because I caused some problems for myself chain vaping at 80 watts! LOL My lungs could not take that on a repeated basis so I've cut back, but you are nowhere near that level.
