vaping in a shop ,a new name for vaping?

walked into local shop a few days ago only a little local type he saw my riva 510 hanging out advised no smoking i said fine
and puffed away he looked at me gone out i then set about explaing what it was and how it worked
he looked on felt the weight said so your not smoking i left him some cards from suppliers etc left with shopping happy as larry
today i walked in the first thing that came out was ....."No steaming in the shop please"

I like the term steaming too. I just dont feel exactly right saying vaping. Sounds like some sort of med term. People look perplexed. I say its basically steam clouds and they feel better with it , i think it sounds less harmful. Vaporizing still makes people think chemicals of some sort. Flavored steam sounds better to those who are skeptical.
