I live in rogers Arkansas (originally from Dallas Texas) not the kinda place that is very tech savy. About a month ago I got a bunch of No.7 e-cigs from my mother who asked me to at least give them a try. I was a die hard smoker, I have smoked for more than a decade smoked camel wides 2 packs a day. I collected camel memorabilia had more camel cash than Joe himself, my college dorm room was wall papered with camel cartons and soft packs, We even used a hibachi grill as our ashtray. I had not planned to quit but using the disposable no. 7 wasn't to bad. I was impressed and with the rising cost of cigarette prices going thru the roof and legislation making me feel like uncle SAM was leaning over my shoulder I decided to go with it. (not to mention my family offered to buy them). I now have a 510 and really love it, I am a techno buff I love everything you can do with technology so having a cigarette I can hook up to my computer is awesome. I love the flavors (which unlike flavored cigs you can taste). I am going to start using it more in public and getting reactions from people. I am not sure how the non tech people here in Arkansas will react but it should be fun to see. I will report back on how things went and the reactions I got from the people in the bass ackwards place. Happy vaping everyone!!

well I went into wal-mart today and used my 510. I was using it both at the gas station and in the store. Got several scowls and strange looks from people at the gas station. However in the store no one really said anything. I made sure to stealth vape most of the time. When I was at the register I did breath out a bit and the cashier kinda took a double take but didnt say anything.

Hi - I'm an Arkansan, also, and work in a large hospital. The question regarding e-cigs came up last week after a request by a visiting family member. They were told they could use it only after the "device" was cleared with the department that handles all our electronic equipment. I found this ridiculous considering the number of cell phones, lap tops and video games that are used that have not required any such clearance.

Look Cheryl! Another Arkansan! Welcome Kaldaus, I am in Springdale! There is one other vaper here on the forum that lives in Rogers. I've been vaping around NWA for 10 months and have never seen another vaper. There are 3-4 other Arkansas forum user but they are a bit farther away. Will check out Lecig.com, there is also a vendor in Berryville.

ya I did see that at the gas station the other day. I looked at them while I was there and thought it was great that they had gotten them hopefully it will catch on. I talk up e-cigs wherever I go now. I have gotten a lot of positive feedback. I am thinking about buying some disposables and selling them at cost. This way I can kinda help promote them here.
