Must be the VG. Yesterday morning, I got in the car for an errand and immediately picked up the 510 PT I'd left sitting on the passenger seat for more than 12 very cold hours. I was wondering how it would do, but it hit fine first time with a carto filled with all-PG juice. I kind of like cold weather vaping. Normally I notice nearly zero visible vapor on my exhales (which I'm quite OK with), but I enjoy the novelty of seeing myself exhale a big cloud into the cold air.

Wow, that's funny, I just wanted to start the exact same topic. I mostly vape all-PG liquids, and I noticed that vapor, taste and TH go down the drain when I for instance walk to the supermarket at not-yet-freezing temperatures, too short a distance to cool the apparatus significantly down (could be 510, 808, Riva or Leo). At the risk of being silly, I believe the wind has something to do with it as well.

As an expert on cold weather because of my location, let me just say...... j/k

Actually I do have a trip planned to a much colder area and was wondering if TH is affected? I saw VG (what I use) is harder to wick in the cold. Makes sense but I would have never thought of it........interesting
Also wondering if a 5v PV would do better because of the added power/heat.....

Use a full charged battery keep it in your pocket when not in use and use a thin juice mix "more pg" blast the attomiser for a while to get it up to temp and thats all you can do. If still no good try a lower resistance atomiser as this will run hotter and give more vapour. I use a mod or high voltage e cig and you do not get this issue at all.

Hey throatkick -

I have a 5v Saber Touch 510 connection and a Glv 901 connection. What I've noticed is that the colder it is, the shorter the batt life.

At -25 degrees, and not keeping the batts and Saber warm, I got maybe 40mins of vape time if that.

Oh, yeah, don't use a metal drip tip when it's that cold. :)
