Vaping in Dubai

Hi Guys,

Planning a trip over to Dubai over the christmas period, have read various bits of info on here and in the press around 2009 saying that ecigs are banned over there, has anyone had any experiences of taking an ecig with them over there? I dont intend on using it on the plane but I wouldn't want any drama at the airport or risk getting it taken from me.

dubai is beautiful. i went a couple years ago on R&R. not sure why they would be banned they have hookah bars everywhere.
