Maybe this a stupid question, but why is that a when sitting in proximity of a fan the throat hit diminishes on a vape? Doesn't matter what topper or battery device I am using. If I sit down and have a fan blowing, not like gail force, just a normal setting 1 or 2 on a 16" fan my throat hit almost all but disappears. Obviously the vapor production doesn't seem as dense due to the air current once I exhale, but why does it affect the TH? The flavor doesn't change, and remains a great fully saturated vape, it's just TH.

Like I said maybe a stupid question, but it's been driving me batty trying to figure it out.

The fan forces more air into the draw.
Even small air increases can make drastic differences. Especially on higher ohm setups.
On low resistance builds it becomes critical for proper performance. Too little air and you get a choking nasty over hot hit that [ralph wiggam]tastes like burning[/ralph wiggam].

Agree 100%

Makes sense, but why is not affected the same way when outside? Example... I was out on the boat this past weekend. Clipping across the water full throttle, much stronger air current than that of the fan, and my TH was just fine with the wind in my face. If the previous comments were infact responsible, wouldn't that mean it would do the same when I was boating? Why was it not affected then?

May have been the orientation of your air holes at the different times.
Sorry, my inner 15 y.o. came out for a giggle.

I get different results depending when I'm under the ceiling fan in the living room opposed to under a ceiling fan in the bedroom. I'm about the same distance in each room.I also get less of a TH when I'm outdoors at work. It's been really hot this week in Texas, maybe the humidity has something to do with it. Can't quite figure out the ceiling fan factor.

I know what you mean and it is strange. I usually turn off the ceiling fan when I vape. A desk lamp enhances the experience though. The fan disperses the vape and the desk lamp seems to collect it. It might be visual/psychological.

As for vaping in a wind it might be that you are overcompensating for it and really toking heavily.

Another fun factor to play with is that air is denser at cooler temperatures.

I may have to take a nice rip with my head in the freezer tonight.

SCIENCE!

I've done this. lol. Took a big ol lunger from my KF, and ripped it in there. Was so thick I thought it might actually freeze. It didn't, but was still fun to try.

I also always questioned this for ages, but for me I found that That little bit of "smoke" that lingers in front of your mouth when your done taking a toke usually gets inhaled too (because I'll suck that right in with the rest)....and without that extra little bit of "smoke" I lose my TH. The wind will blow this vapor away so you get less of a hit overall when in a breeze.

Huh! There could be something to that. Curious. I started a couple of months ago. It's hot here so there haven't been many times not under a fan, in a/c or with the windows open. If I remember to compare during the two weeks it's cold here...[
