Sitting out by the pool this evening (Bahrain) with temp in the triple digits with humidity close to the same and my vaping experience was non-existent! Just gurgling and leaking. The juice of choice was Volcano Kona Coffee. Jumped over to my wife's PV which was loaded with Menthol Burst and no problems. Anyone else have problems with this? Is there an ideal PG/VG mix or flavor types that are more conducive to adverse climates?

I was out by the pool with my ego's and CE4s and actually had the best vape I had ever had from those clearos. It must have been the crappy old wicks were actually doing their job with the thinner juice

I think you may have found a use for the otherwise useless CE4s i have sitting in my tackle box.

A little thermal physics is probably the culprit; the air in the top of your tank was at room temp (75f or so). When you take it outside, that air heats up and expands, creating pressure in the tank and flooding the carto. Same thing happens if you go up a mountain road and gain altitude. Try lifting the tank up a bit on the carto and "burping" it...

You sure it wasn't just a problem with your battery or something? I'm here in Florida with constant 90F with 90-100% humidity with afternoon thunderstorms making the humidity worse (sometimes feels like a damn sauna, literally watching steam/vapor coming off the roads lol) and I've never had a problem vaping. I use a standard ego battery with a kanger pro tank.

I'm sitting in air conditioning and even the menthol won't cool me down!

It helps but seriously:

I've had the same issue a few times with the eVod's, T3's and the CE5. Granted, I normally removed the top flavor wick from each addy for a little more vapor, this tends to result in flooding the batt when extremely hot outside or when the it is moved around slightly vigorously. Swapped to 100% VG and that has helped drastically. I have had good luck with the iClear 16's in the heat; only had one flood the batt like once or twice and that was even minimal.

Yeah, I was thinking of possibly going with a higher VG due to viscosity. I don't know what Volcano's ratio is but I think it is a 70/30 PG/VG mix. What was strange was that their Menthol Blast gave me no problems in the high heat and humidity. So there may be a different ratio between thier flavors.

I'm certainly no genius but I've noticed this with almost ANY tank setup when I go from my office AC out in the heat and humidity. If i'm in the hot all day it's fine, or if I leave it in the AC all day it's fine as well. Last week Ohio was in the 90s (along with the rest of the country practically) and this was happening to me constantly when I ran out of the office to smoke with my team. I'm betting on what someone said a page back, about the air heating up and expanding when going from somewhere cold and dry to hot and humid.

YES THIS^^^ In the summer it gets super hot in my house. My daily routine is to top off my tanks in the morning and in the morning its cool in my house. When i first started vaping using CE4 clearos, by about 1:00 when it was getting hot I would start to have problems with leaking into the battery and gurgling, no vapor etc. I think the change in temp created pressure in my clearos. I found I had to unscrew the tip just a bit so that the pressure would release.
I use an evod and a vision victory now and havent had any problems with leaking or gurgling. I do notice not as much vapor when it is hot out though. I think the air is pretty dry here and when its hot it just makes the vapor go away faster.
