Vaping in Mexico

All went well on the flight down, with no hassles with customs. Took my 510 in my pocket and it went through the x-ray no problem at all. Have been vaping around the hotel, and even met a couple of other vapers here too, and Had a nice visit at the swim up bar with them. wish you were all here. We could mexi vape fest.
So far just because there banned here has not proven to be a problem. I did not look forward to smoking analogs if I lost it at customs.
Will check in when I return to let you know how the return trip goes with Mexican customs.

Right on. I just booked a trip to the Mayan Riviera for November (yes.. it's a crappy time of year but its for a friends wedding) so hopefully I have the same success.

How much juice did you take with you?

Great to hear your having an awesome time,I am leaving for Mexico tomorrow morning myself a week in Cancun... sun surf and Dos equis.I got my 510 packed so its nice to know it is acceptable,wish I had my sd keyring but that is still enroute.Adios Muchachos.I will report back upon arrival.

My Wife just got back from a week in Mexico and she said she didn't have any problems at all with her Ego Kit in tow. Customs and security on the Mexican side looked inside her "vape case" which was loaded to the brim with batteries, charger, drip tips, 4-30ml bottles of juice and a ton of bridgeless attys and never batted an eye. Just zipped it back up and handed it back to her.

Back from our trip and no problems anywhere with my gear. No one even wanted to look at anything in Mexico, or the US Customs. All went smooth.
Nice to be home but wish I was still there.

I go to Mexico about four times per year, as my wife's family lives there. Never had an issue with customs, airlines, airport staff, or anyone else for that matter. Even managed to stealth-puff on the airplane without issue

Dude, what resort were you in? We were in Mexico from the 14th through the 21st at the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya. No hassles either way or at the resort either.

To explain:

E-cigs are not "banned", as such, in Mexico. The Tobacco Control Law only forbids their commercial import, domestic manufacture, sale, marketing and distribution.

It says nothing about posession, use or, indeed, nicotine-based liquids.

Well off to Mexico on Wed figured I would leave the Mods at home and just take some batteries 4, cpl chargers, a handfull of stardusts Mainly for simplicity and of course juice. I have backed up my backups so I should be safe from stinkarretes

Went to the Sirrenis about 5 years ago when it was new. Hear it is starting to fall apart. We had a great time there though....

It's not necessarily falling apart, but I don't see us going back there again. There have been subtle changes made here and there that did not make the experience as fun as it was the last time there.

Still a good resort overall though.
