I just spent two nights in the local hospital (nothing serious at all) and it was very very cool how, even with a room mate, I was able to sneak a few vapes here and there!
I had just taken a nice big vape when an aide came in so I discreetly exhaled and she said "I like your purfume" huh??? does vaping have a smell? I never really noticed...lol. Anyway..I was a bad bad girl, but it was a lot of fun!

Wow funny you should mention that. I work in a hospital and am going to inquire about being able to vape inside. I am sure my boss has to check it out thoroughly first but I don't see where it is anything that causes effect to anyone else so why not even if they say no it is helpful to be working 3rd shift with only four of us in the department at those hours :D

I work in the basement of a hospital, locked in my office by myself, only able to leave 15 minutes at a time twice a night... You best believe I'm vaping all night... :) just the other day I told the head of midnight security, and the hospial administrator (two long term smokers) and we went into the security office and I busted out 3 titans... It was a blast! You wouldn't have needed to sneak a vape here... Well, not on the night shift... :p

I'm a nurse and I have been vaping at work for over a week now without issue. I have not actually brought it up to bosses, I just do it. I figure it is better to explain it if someone asks and beg forgiveness if they don't approve, than to ask and get told no right away. Most people think it is a pretty cool idea and want to know how I got into it. The only problem I have had is it falling out when I bend over, and pocket lint! I need to get a pen-clip that will fit it.

I took a flight to Hawaii the other day, and asked a friend, who was a flight attendant on Hawaiian airlines if I could vape. First she asked me what? Then I mentioned the E-cig. Long story short, I vaped, and so many smokers on the flight inquired as to what the smoke was. So an announcement had to be made on the flight that it was not smoke, but rather, steam...How funny was that. Nevertheless I continued to vape!

Off tangent on a similar story, my cousin is an Nurse Prac at a hospital in Honolulu. She noted that a patient was vaping. The nurses informed my friend, and discussed the issue with the DON (Director of Nursing); and they banned e-Cigarettes within hospital walls. I suppose it simply takes some time...

I've vaped everywhere a no smoking sign exists, and for me, that's a number of places.
