I had a recent thought and would like some opinions.

I have recently given up analogs 2-weeks ago when I switched to vaping (honestly not a single craving!!!). I had never, ever smoked in my house because of the smell and the yellowing of white paint caused by the smoke.

Since I started vaping, I also decided that it might be okay to do it in my house, which I have been doing. Depending on the juice, there is a minor smell, however it dissipates quickly. Even my wife who has never smoked a cigarette in her life has no complaints of the vapor smell indoors, so no worries from that angle.

I wonder if anyone has noticed any build-up inside however. Maybe some discoloring of paint, or other impacts of vaping indoors?

Thanks!

It seems like it could be possible for it to leave a film on glass similar to smoking, like if you're vaping in your car and blowing out clouds on the dash. But it's not something I've noticed yet personally. As far as typical indoor issues, it just doesn't have the same nasty lingering and contaminating properties as chemical and tar filled smoke.

haven't noticed any residue in my home or in my car. I have heard from sub-ohm smokers that they get residue inside the windows of their cars. But that is some heavy vapors.. One thing to think about... If you are vaping to eventually quit smoking/vaping all together, it may be better if you vape as you did when you smoked. Vaping lazily in front of the computer or watching tv can become a habit/trigger in itself when you try to stop completely.

Yeah, good point and to be honest, this has been/is a fear of mine. My original intention was to quit altogether... however, I would like to see some health studies as that will largely impact my decision. I am really enjoying vaping and much more than I ever did smoking.

I have a "man cave" gun/reloading room that has now a 6ft long table dedicated to my vape habit/addiction. When I enter the room it has a fruity…sweet smell from all the DIY juice instead of gun powder and cleaning solvent…..lol

My wife is not sure it still classifies as a MAN-CAVE…..

Maybe I could vape Hoppes #9 …..probably much healthier if I just use it as a solvent.

I'm in the same boat, was always an outdoors-only smoker but once I quit I started vaping in the house. I do get a little buildup on my car windows (not as bad as when I was smoking), but zero evidence of vaping inside the house after the wife and I have been doing so for 8 months.
