Welcome from a fellow Floridian, I'm just north of you in Ocala.
I'm sure that e cigs will become one of the best things you have done for your self.
I also started out on one I bought in a store then I got a 510 and since then haven't used tobacco.
That was last Nov.
Welcome to the family of vapers, you are in the right place everyone here is helpfull and informative and will do their best to keep you from going back to analogs.

I'm updating my first post as it is how I am keeping track of how long it has been since I quit smoking. I'm happy to report that I haven't had a single cigarette since my post on April 21. That is over 10 weeks ago! Two weeks ago today I was in a very bad car crash and suffered a lot of stress due to a totalled car, dealing with insurance, buying a new car, etc. I think that if I was going to relapse and buy a pack of cigarettes, it would probably have been at that time.....But I didn't!!!!

I enjoy my e-cig and after trying many different juices, I've settled into a routine with my Joye E-Go and Atomic Cinnacide juice. I've been using the doubler and have cut my nicotine level way down. I vape now because I enjoy it, but seldom because of a strong urge to do so. I think I'm on the right path and I feel very good about that.

I almost feel that I quit smoking by accident. I didn't have a strong motivation to do so. My curiosity to try an E-Cig had very good consequences!

Heh, pretty much the same story. I really do feel that I quit smoking by accident. I had no intention of "quitting", just cutting back some. Tried out vaping and the rest is history. Last cigarette was May 19, 2010. Now, I can't imagine me ever smoking an analog ever again.

I hope your accident situation works out as well as it can and congrats on your quitting and holding firm under stress.

lol same here Brenda - i say I 'quit against my wishes' because it pretty much was! I had no desire to stop smoking, bought a PV to cut back; the PV was an alternative NOT a quitting tool, but oh hey look, I quit anyway lol
Looks like your journey is the same. I still use my 510, the first one I bought (cignot of course lol), and still love it :)
My juice collection is somewhat out of control though

Just updating my original post. It has been almost 4 months now since I smoked my last analog. I still vape on an Ego with Atomic Cinnacide. I've cut my nicotine level down a lot. I like the Ego a lot better than the 510, but it seems that I have gone through a lot of atomizers. I'd like to find an e-cig that lasts longer, but I'm not very worried about it as I know I have saved a lot of money in the past 4 months by not smoking analogs....and of course, the health benefits are so much more important.
The wheezing and difficulty breathing that I had experienced after surgery 2 years ago has completely gone away.

Happy vaping everyone!!!!!!

I now haven't had an analog cigarette for 11 months - GOING ON A YEAR! Kind of exciting. :) The transition for me was bringing back the flu from a convention (H1NERD1) last year - which put me under for SEVERAL weeks. I thought it might be a good time to order some vaping tools since I wasn't smoking at all. When I came out, I just didn't go back to analogs, and haven't looked back since.

I was probably a pack of lights every 1.5-2 days or so. I wasn't as bad as some, but I was getting worse.
