Today is 1 week off cigs. Everyday it gets harder and harder. Only thing that runs through my mind everyday is cigs cigs cigs. I vape 10 times back to back it dont cut the cravings one bit @ 12mg. I think I need to get a pack of cigs. Not to start back, but to ease the cravings a couple times a day till I can order some higher strength juice. What you guys suggest. The cravings are NOT getting better.

I started vaping while cutting back on analogs for two weeks.... I also started out with 18 mg nic.... it gets easier.... bump up the nicotine.... chances are once you get the nicotine level right, youll only have to fight the withdrawl of the other chemicals in analogs....

But I'm not an expert, only quit analogs about a month ago.... went from 18 mg with cutting back on the analogs to analog free and 30 mg nic....

Up the nic to 24 or check out WTAs.... that can help you when you feel the strong urges... (also, take a kleenex, blow your nose.. is the kleenex brown like it used to be?.... remember things like this and it helps)

yea I gotta up it up. 12 just isnt cutting it and I was a light smoker. 4-12 cigs a day. Sometimes more sometimes less. But when I blew my nose it was never brown ( unless it was a very light brown )

if you were a heavy smoker 12mg is not going to be a high enough nic level...
also instead of taking vapor into your lungs like smoking...go from mouth and out nostrils...nic is absorbed in the mouth and better in the nasal cavities and isn't really at all absorbed in the lungs.

[edit]and also if using a cigarette look alike....those don't really do any good for quitting smoking, they are more a helping hand or a replacement occasionally to smoking....need a better pv.

I would bump your nic up higher maybe 24mg, or even 36mg. Many people when they start vaping still do smoke to help with the transition. Be happy about the ciggs not smoked. And don't get too down about the ones You do smoke while getting to full time vaping.
Also with vaping Your are only replacing the nicotine, not the many many other chemicals smoking puts in Your body, Your body needs to adjust to not having them anymore.

Maybe changing your juice will help. Either find something super close to a tobacco taste or something strong like a mint.

I know the feeling. Try MyFreedomSmokes Congress at 24 mg/ml. It's what I use when my friends are smoking all around me. Kills the crave. I can't vape it all the time (too much real cig flavor, almost ashtray flavor in there) but when I want a cigarette, it does the job.

Also 12 mg/ml is too light to start out. If I vape even 18 mg/ml, I have to chain vape all day. The beauty and curse of a cigarette is that quick nic hit. Try more like 24 or even 36 mg/ml for a similar experience. Also, I know how many puffs are in a cigarette (about 11 for me) and try to keep vaping to about that same number. It feels like smoking: quick high nic uptake and then put it aside until the next one.

I agree with upping your nicotine ...but try 18 first before leaping up to 24. Another thing that may help is to take longer, slower draws then hold it in for a second or two before exhaling. This will maximize the amount of nicotine that gets absorbed. It is possible that you are drawing on it like is common with cigarettes ...quick pulls, then immediate exhalation. This is actually counter-productive in the ecigarette world as 'our' nicotine doesn't absorb as quickly or as fully as the nicotine in cigarettes that is helped along by 200+ other chemicals.

I mean take 10 large puffs. 1 large puff then another puff pause roughly 10 seconds and repeat till about 10 vapes total.

Just the fact that you can't tell me that might be part of the problem. Vaping isn't smoking and you don't absorb nicotine the same way. It takes some trial and error before you find what works for you. If you over vape you won't feel well, but not for long, it's a cue from your body. Otherwise, try and relax and vape what you need to. When I first started, I was vaping unless I was asleep. Slow easy drags...
