Been vaping like it's going out of style for months now. Someone had said that it is somewhat normal after quitting the analogs to vape heavily for a little while. I am pretty much vaping all day and night. Sometimes when I wake up in the middle of the night to take a leak I'll drag my box mod with me and vape then also. I'm cool with it cause I totally love it, but am a little concerned that I'm going to completely nic out and have a stroke or something.

LOL! the symptoms of nic o.d. are the same wether vaping or smoking, I bet you know the feeling; jittery, heart palps, nausea, cold sweats... If you feel fine you aren't overdoing it. If you want to back off the amount of time you vape, you may even look into getting a higher mg nicotine (don't know what mg you use right now, but often when the level is too low people tend to vape more.

Good luck:)

between here and there
Ive been vaping since New Years Eve and Im the same way sometimes. Its like I dont know when to quit. My daughter noticed that too. She said "yall(my wife is vaping too) are vaping every time I see you. I think you vape more than you smoked". Im just glad to be away from analogs. Im sure we'll settle down after awhile.

Vaping is not the same as smoking cigarettes. You would probably need to up the nic if you are constantly craving it. The absorbtion rate is different than analogs also. I saw a really good post the other day--I will try to find it for you. It compares analogs to cigs.
btw welcome to ecf. Glad to have you here.

I found what I was looking for. Stosh posted this on 3-8-2011
The amount of nicotine in a cigarette and in a e-cig cartridge aren't directly comparable.
The cig is what you are actuallly inhaling, the e-cig is what's in the juice and it's generally
accepted that you only get about 40%. Also the cig is a rush of nic (straight shot of whiskey)
and an e-cig (pint of bitters) so the effects on the user is different. The e-cig allows us to
maintain a comfortable level of nicotine in our body to ward off the nicotine fits. :)
I think this is a very good representation of what is happening when we vape non-stop.

Or since you vape so much, you could buy your faves in a lower nic if you worry about over-niccing, and use the lower nic when you are vaping a lot

I dropped from 18mg to 12mg and still over-niccing myself sometimes. I can't wait to get to 6mg - maybe I could vape more then.

I've dropped to 6mg and vape like crazy... but now my attys don't last quite so long :)

im into the pre-filled carts from the kit that I bought (Marlboro High) and I think im having palpitations. I might lower the nic level on my next purchases on juices.

Just cut it by adding some distilled water or pg or vg or any combo of that. That's what I do...save money and increase the volume of your stash. ;)
