Yippee! Got my package from Juggy bright and early this morning... he spoiled me! I'll have to close my eyes and point to decide what to sample first... though from everything I'm reading, I think I'll just stash the Swedish Pastry away for a bit and try to be patient...

You got some serious nice bling there tiger :D I would love to hear what you thinking about it once you try it :D :D

Well, I'm really sad about it actually... and the only two reasons I'm even still using it are that I don't have my normal replacement tank/clearos yet, so I desperately need *something* to use, and 'cause I'm just too dang cheap not to use it 'til it craps out. I've run over a ml of Ry4 thru it, and easily 2mls of Cin-a-heart, and it still has a hot plastic taste to it, and the flavor (of the Ry4 anyway) is totally muted in it. I switched to the Cin-a-heart in hopes it would overpower the bad taste, but that only partly worked. I wanted to love it, but I really don't. HOWEVER... having said all that, the veterans seem surprised and there's speculation I got the rare bad one from the batch.... I'm NOT upset with the vendor, and I'm getting some help with the problem, so I'll keep you posted. I'm not giving up on these, but sadly my first experience wasn't great. I will say I'm thrilled to finally find one with the flat tip.... and the buddy that got me started vaping uses these exclusively, so I'm inclined to hope it's just a rare fluke.

hehe! thanks! I'll have to be somewhat restrained until my new replaceable tanks arrive (don't like switching up flavors in those tanks too much... plan is to have more-or-less dedicated tanks and dissemble/wash/reassemble less.... I'm thinking less monkeying = longer tank life... and I KNOW I don't wanna try them in the clearo I'm having trouble with, as that wouldn't be fair to his flavors.... but I *know* I won't be able to restrain myself from tearing into at least one or two of them! ;)

I've never tried dripping, but two of the experts were really encouraging me to go that route yesterday. Being a newbie, I'm so reluctant to go there! Seems so time-consuming and fiddly! I have stuff to do in a day! Can't be sitting around messing with bottles and attys and dripping nic juice all over myself lol.... but I'm sure that's inexperience talking.... so I might have to try. But I'm utterly CLUELESS as to what I need equipment-wise (to work with my eGo batts), and would want to keep it simple and inexpensive in case it's not something I'll keep up with....

well with my ego's i can tell you what works for me, and you can go from there? What is important here is whatever you use that keeps you away from cigarette's everyone is different, so what works for one may not work for you

Bare in mind this is what i use on my ego's and may/may not work for you, but it is a starting point:

$15.00 from CEV: The vivi nova with only the 1.8ohm head (you get 1.8, 2.4 and 2.8 in a package)

$10.00 from CEV: kanger cartomizers (you get 5 in a pack), are super easy to fill too, about twenty drips in the top, plus you can use what ever tip you want (as long as it is 510)

$6.99 from Vapour Solutions: The stardust with replaceable heads.
--------------------------------------

It is my experience you get better flavor and throat hits if you stick with low resistance (aka LR) for your ego's. Also if you are the type of person that loves to see lots of vapor plus get that throat hit, you can try 70% pg (propylene glycol) 30% vg (vegetable glycerin) mixes......wait.....i cannot recall if you said you needed more a 50/50 mix? that would work too

HUH? I'm totally confused now.... aren't every single one of the things you just mentioned clearomizers? you fill 'em up and puff half a day (well, for me!) until 'til they're low and fill 'em again? I thought we were talking about dripping, where I thought you only got a few puffs and then have to drip more.... maybe I don't really understand (more than likely) but I thought with dripping you used a completely different atomizer piece that you just add 2-3 drips (or less) at a time and are constantly puff-drip-puff-puff-drip-puff-puff-dripping..... not so?

And no, I seem to be ok with higher PG.... I wasn't enjoying the higher VG mixes as they were gunking up my coil quicker.... but it really seems to depend on the juice in particular.... I need to test lots more juices to really know what my current atty likes best....

slight confusion for a morning is a good thing right? not!!!! there is dripping with a atomizer yes, but i had also read that right now at this point and time you are not that interested in it, and i thought i read where you said you were looking for replacements/alternatives to what you had right now, that would of course work with the ego, so that is why i mentioned the other clearomizers/cartomizers

Finally got my pipes in, though I foolishly didn't read the full description of the tips and they do not fit...oh well, live n learn. Batteries are charging so the buttons are still off. Will need to swap to higher ohm heads too.

Try this dripping atomizer: 510 Bridgeless Atomizer LR(1.5 or 2.0ohm) SR(2.5 or 3.0ohm)

Go with the 2.0ohm one for your egos. Basically, drip in about 4-5 drops, lasts about 5-10 puffs.....drip more, rinse, repeat.

I use it for trying new flavours I'm not ready to commit a carto to, or to randomly taste something I don't have made up in a cartotank when I'm at home.

Tip: boiling this atomizer in water for 5 minutes and then letting dry (20 minutes upside-down on top of a lightbulb works well....or just sitting of paper towel with a bit of paper towel jammed into it overnight) will get out some gunk and refresh it... as far as switching flavours, vaping till it's mostly dry and then popping in a new flavour will get rid of the old flavour very quickly.

Ah! My bad.... I was unclear.... I've been hesistant to try dripping, but who am I to argue with the veterans!? I was wondering what I'd need in terms of parts/pieces/bits if I was to try dripping.... but without spending a bundle in case I'm just not ready for that. In terms of 'mizers you can fill, I'm really happy with the performance I'm getting from the ones that are standard for the "W".... though I'm not signing off on the "Stardusts" (Visions Clearo) just yet.... my not-so-hot experience might be an isolated rarity and due to a rare faulty one....

A single bridgeless is pretty cheap, you don't need one of the 20$+ ones to get your feet wet. You probably have a couple drip tips from other purchases by now, if not a derlin is pretty cheap. You MAY want 2 atmonizers, one to test menthol/mint flavours, and one for non-mint ones. I also "flush" with 0nic VG between flavours (just a drop or two).

Thanks KillFace! Great advice.... I'll check out that atomizer you suggested, and yes, for sampling or such, that *would* be ideal. Or when I just *need* a taste of something different, but don't want to be puffing it the rest of the day. The cleaning tip is for the "stardust" visions clearo I'm guessing? I've still got some cin-a-heart in there, but when it gets down to dregs, I'll try that. Like I say, I really wanted to love that clearo, so I'm willing to try whatever will help!

and btw.... that really *is* a trippy glass tip *giggles*.... very cool... enjoy! ;)

I believe the cleaning tip he was talking about is for cleaning out atomizers.

That drip tip looks really awkward, do you like it?

I do. It's probably not my favourite Trippy Tip, but putting the top of the doughnut on your lips is pretty comfortable.

I'm using it with AVE Craveloupe at the moment which requires a higher power to get the flavour out right......Doughnut shapes like this are good for things like that since it prevents any juice spitting at you from high power.

I'd recommend Trippy Tip glass tips to anyone who wants to pay for it (about $25 each + $5 shipping). I have about 13 or so now and I love them. Cleans super clean, doesn't heat up as much as metal, feels better than plastic, and they look great.

Dripping is really good to test new flavours of e-juice, trust me I leaned the hard way.

I once did DIY and tried to create a peanut butter cup e-juice (I was new and stupid). At the time I didn't have an atomizer so I put my DIY first attempt into a Startdust clearomizer.

OH MY GOD WAS THAT A BAD IDEA!!!

The e-juice was terrible and tasted like burned peanuts

I soaked that Stardust in hot water over and over again to try to get the burned peanut flavour out. I even soaked it in isopropyl alcohol to try to save it. Never was really able to get the taste out.

There is a drip on demand device. I don't know if I would use it in public places
