Dripping can be finicky at first, but in almost a year and a half of vaping I have never found anything that works better - I've tried every cartomizer, clearomizer, tank, RBA, etc. and dripping is still my favorite method of vaping.

You'll learn pretty quickly when to top top off - but that one time you forget and you get that dry, scratchy hit is one of the most unpleasant feelings in the world!

Alright then!!! Thank you very much recidivus, Jables and DevilFishPhil.... to review what I think I learned:
- no, I don't need to "clean" or "burn off" this fluid first..... just drip and give 'er!
- either a cone or shorty cone will cover my threads and give a nice finished look.....

One more question! Do I have to hit the holes in the atty perfectly, or if a little juice is sitting on the metal plate with the holes, is that ok? Can't wait to try, but I'm strangely intimidated! My kit's tankomizers were intuitively obvious to me to use, and I've even braved taking them apart and all.... but for some reason, this little atty is leaving me scratching my head and feeling like a n00b's n00b!!

You don';t have to hit the holes, the liquid will make it's way down there. Don't know if it was said, but you want to blow the primer out of there into a paper towel or something....I would also drip a few drops of whatever liquid you are going to vape in there and blow that out as well, just to prime the atomizer....then 3 or 4 drops in and vape!

Ok, tried out the little drip-atty..... cool! Thanks for all the help, folks. Got a chance to sample the new juice from Vapor God.

Brandy is nice.... tastes exactly like sipping the real thing. It'll be nice for lazy evening puffing.

English Toffee is just what it says.... buttery toffee taste reminiscent of the MackIntosh's toffee bricks I used to gnaw on as a kid.

Cinnamon Red Hots totally lives up to its name! The first puff took my breath away and I felt the cinna-burn all the way down in my lungs! Great flavor, but I actually had to fill my mouth with vapor, then inhale gently through nose and mouth at the same time to calm it a little. Mouth watering cinnamonny goodness for those who like HOT cinnamon.

Now to check out parcel number 3..... pics and info will be shared later ;)

Finally dug into parcel #3, and I'm really impressed and excited!

On Tuesday, cvcn (Canadian Vaping Club Network) featured a Halloween Special hosted by DrippingVenom, and one of the many highlights was a costume party. I won! It was a real thrill, especially considering the prize: a cool new iTaste courtesy of Vapour Solutions in Victoria! It arrived today, and I just finished admiring all the parts and reading the manual start to finish.

This is the coolest new toy! It came with 5 extra tank/cartos, and they were so kind as to also include a really nice carrying case and the adapter that allows me to use my 510 threaded parts as well.

This puppy is magnetic! - no threading to fiddle with, just pop the atty on and GO! It has short protection, 3-click on/off protection, variable voltage in 0.1v increments, and will even automatically identify atty resistance and recommend the best volt setting for any given atty. But wait, that's not all lol.... it counts puffs, features colored LEDs to indicate battery level, and can be operated in passthrough mode as well. I'm still admiring the pearly white finish and carefully contemplating which juice will get the honor of "first puff".

Thanks also to cvcn and Vapour Solutions, I had previously won a $15 gift certificate that I used toward my very first eGo-Twist (you never forget your first?). It was a tough decision between a passthrough for those charging emergencies and the Twist, but in retrospect I chose wisely as the iTaste has the passthrough capability for times I need it.

Christmas definitely came early to tyger's house!
But before I run off to choose the inaugural iTaste puff flavor.... shout outs and huge THANK YOUs go out to:

-Vapour Solutions, Victoria, for the great goodies and amazing service and shipping - merely 17 hours from Canada Post accepting the parcel to delivered! woot woot! Not to mention, I placed the order well into the evening, but still had a personally written confirmation email within minutes! That's dedication! Thank you so much!

- DrippingVenom for hosting a fun and entertaining Halloween special, with great music, great laughs and great prizes!

- cvcn for providing the informative and fun programs and helping connect the Canadian Vaping community.
For those who haven't yet discovered cvcn, find them on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/387033498000587/

Ya know, I'm kicking myself for not grabbing a screenshot of us on the show's sidecam. I have a "Tigger" hoodie that I sewed and appliqued myself, and I put my son in his Disney Tigger suit.... and we brought his Tigger toy on cam too.... so we were the Tigger family lol. I have pics from the following night (Halloween) of us but I didn't make up my face to take him treat-or-treating. I'll see if the producers have any captured images I can share.... if not I'll share pics from Halloween....

ed* actually, you may not need the 510-510 adapter, I haven't used it on my ego yet...eyeballing it looks like it shouldn't need one but I can't say for certain.

You answered all the questions I was going to. :) With the 3 hole atomizer - a dripshield works without a 510-510 adapter, the top o-ring just touches the top of the atomizer though and leaks would be going into the ego 510 connection, it's definitely better with a sealed 510-510 adapter to keep leaks out of the battery and get a better seal at the top.

Here's Grimmgreen's video about dripshields; LET'S USE SOME DRIPSHIELDS - YouTube

Just ordered from healthcabin, so I'll have an update in 3 weeks. :p Next week I'll at least have some jugheads though.

oooo, thanks chagrin! I was really confused about the dripshields and what they were good for, but now I understand why I want one, as well as a 510-510 adapter. Where do you find the sealed adapters? So far I've only found unsealed....

I buy things like that from healthcabin, but their cheap shipping takes weeks from China. You buy from canvape right ? They have them; Sealed 510-510
