Vaping Mail Show 'N' Tell: What did the Postman bring you today?

oooo, thanks chagrin! I was really confused about the dripshields and what they were good for, but now I understand why I want one, as well as a 510-510 adapter. Where do you find the sealed adapters? So far I've only found unsealed....

I know Vaporgeek is out in your neck of the woods and carries 510 sealed adapters along with the dripshields (Just ordered some last week). Unfortunately, it looks like Lae was playing with her website and crashed the works. Should be up in a couple days though.

The concord grape is a new one to me though! I knew about cinnamon, banana, and citrus..... does the grape have some citrus in it for "tartness" or something?

I think it has to do with Jughead's "organic" juices. I've tried 3 so far, and they have this strong acidic component to them like I've never seen in other juices. Very hard on the throat/lungs. I wouldn't trust any of them in plastic. The ruined tank was so etched it started to crack and eventually just fell apart.

Very tasty flavours, though.

Mister Mike you current appearance is now ehhh "understandable" the following comes to mind:

1. Extreme anxiety due to low level of nic supplies leading to the dreaded condition known as nicless ; and,
2. In desperation you have in fact "jeeped" your self. A tradition in the NCO messes of Canadian military Regiments where at the New Year's Day Levy the new subalterns are marched over to be "introduced". They are, by tradition required to ingest a pint of the dregs of the bottles that have accumulated behind the NCO's bar. Having been "jeeped" my self I can understand the reason you look so awful.

Ah, so that's what that means. I've heard references to "jeeping" before, and have never known what it meant. I'm cautiously optimistic (cautiomistic?) about the juice, however.

I am reminded of a Bits 'n' Bites jingle/slogan/catchphrase, suitably modified of course:

You never get bored vapin' mystery juice
'cos your mouth never knows 'til it's all over.

Knowing my luck, it'll be the holy grail of vapes. :D

Glad it's just not me. Got mine yesterday and tried the organic banana and blueberry (all 50/50). I did find them acidic. Blueberry I could understand but banana? Also have a bunch of VG extreme stuff - hope not all of them are acidic.

Started the steeping process and hope that mellows it out. My first batch from a week a ago had peach and cherry - they weren't that tart (no steeping).

I think jugheads' is using crave's organic ? In this video evelwmn says that all their juices have lemon in them, which might be causing the taste and cracking. I've never had a problem with any juice in any plastic tank personally.

As for chemically, weird tastes; this usually always goes away with steeping a week or two. Cherry is the only flavour I've found that seems particularly hard to do and even after sitting over a month, the nasty perfume flavour never went away.

I was talking with Lae about what she was sending me, when she said the site was down :( She is a good coder and i cannot wait to see if they are going to have a new look or not

Oh, ok..... whew! I was getting the jitters just thinking about it lol

there is one e-cig that is aimed at getting smokers converted that has 45mg nic in it. That right there is a head blower upper (sadly sold only in the USA. Then again my wife was saying she saw a add in a local store window for the evo's)

Oh while i am sending out this message, and only if you like the tanks kitty , once vapor geek gets back up and running i would say look into the V Core 2.0 tanks. I prefer it over my vivi nova mini, or my ego-c's (the kind with replaceable heads).

Cannot wait to try the two Italian flavor juices she sent me :D

PS: let me know what you think of the iTaste.....my birthday is coming up in less then two months, so i need to know what to ask for as a B-Day present ;)

VG Extreme are not like the Organics. Just no PG and very smooth. The Organics are a whole different ball game.

His review is pretty much spot on, although I haven't noticed too much of an issue with dry hits at all. Its working really well for the last week or so and haven't used either the mini or regular Nova since. Not to say I wont go back to it though. It doesn't need adapters like the Nova does on many of my devices which is a major plus.

The ones that I got from Canvape all had the plastic (shoe lace ends) on them making it very easy to insert them into the holes. That was for 2 of the 4 at least. (I messed up and removed them beforehand).

Well worth the price and should be tried.

They have these v core 2.0 at canvape Squid ((SplitFire(VCORE 2.0)) Clearomizer Tank & Replacement 4 Wick Coil Heads. How are thy different than Vivis?

seeing as i have two vivi's (reg), one vivi (mini) and there "little" cousin the ego-c (2), there is just a few slight changes, such as the atomizer sits above the juice in it's own chamber, cleaning is a long easier and does not need to be removed from the assembly (just run it under water), the second chamber seems to help with air flow as does the wider top where you put the drip tip. seeing as there is the top screw part, a screw type assembly middle, and the base it gives it a nice heavy yet sturdy feel to it.

You only seem to give this a slight tip to 'recharge' the wicks for a longer period of time (unlike the vivi). Also it looks (at first glace) that A) the ohm rating is much closer to what it is supposed to be (unlike some vivi and ego-c heads), B) i am thinking the rebuilding of the coil will be a lot easier and smoother.

Lastly changing juice is quicker, as you fill your tank, screw in the atomizer assembly, then add some juice along the top wicks, and one drop into the coils and VOILA!

Since yesterday i have been putting it through it's paces and juice changes, using it at about 3.8V seems to be the optimum setting for a 1.8ohm head while the vivi can go a little further with 4.1V or 4.2 for that sweet spot.

but all in all? the V core is out preforming my vivi mini and well the V Core has a nice soft blue body :D lol

I'm still not sure why people would actively seek that stuff out. But, it's still selling, so there must be a greater number of closet sapophages out there than a reasonable person would suspect. Takes all kinds, I guess.

My assessment of Jeep Juice is "surprisingly nondescript". Guess there's just too much going on for any one flavour to come to the fore. Oh, well. At least I know that my scraps won't ever go to waste.

Cool, I'll check them out. Is that the one I'm hearing referred to as the "Squid"? I'm really fond of the tank-o-mizers (not sure if that's the exact right term, but it's descriptive) with sleeve and pencap as they're so smart and discreet.... but I'm curious about everything!

PS: let me know what you think of the iTaste.....my birthday is coming up in less then two months, so i need to know what to ask for as a B-Day present ;)

So far, I quite like it. I wrote a ridiculously long bit about it for someone else who asked, I'd be happy to send it to you if you wish... but the short of it is that it's a neat, tidy, smart little setup that's ideal for purse or pocket. For a starter, it would be a cadillac solution - has VV, voltage range suggestion (senses the atty ohms and suggests an operating range), passthrough (so a newbie with only one atty is never without ability to puff), and the "hotswappable" atty assembly is brilliant. Magnetic adapters allow you to turn your favorite other-system attys into quick-change attachments also. Changing LED colors on the button warn you of remaining battery charge. There's even a puff counter, which is kind of cute.

Seasoned "tank" vapers might find the cartridge capacity a bit stingy, but they're easy and quick to refill once you figure out some streamlining tips. (Keep needle caps on your favorite juices, and then refills are tidy and take moments.) I'd definitely add a few atty covers/heads/cartridges to the kit so you can swap flavors in a snap.

And if anyone should be inclined to do some early birthday shopping, ;) Vapour Solutions has the kit on special right now! I don't know for how long....
