I grabbed a couple of those new ViVi STV thingies with the nice metal jacket with windows.... technically it's not vapemail 'cos it's just ordered, but it's "pending vapemail".... wanted to share it here, 'cos I got the deal of the century. Right here in Canada! And cheaper than HealthCabin....

Add two heads like you'd get in the boxed kits for $3 and you just saved $1 and a month over healthcabin. Why do people have to push their devices and batteries beyond the limits they were designed to handle? I'm not talking about modifying your pv's here I talking about creating a situation where you are flirting with catastrophic failure. When Mike Morgan aka Zen~ actually builds a "current limiting switch spring" into his mods so that if you're going to vape at below 1.2 O it will burn out there are reasons for that.
Reason 1. To protect himself so that his product liability insurance protects him and his business; and,
Reason 2. To protect us the users....... sometimes I wonder why?
That's all this community needs is a news story about a catastrophic failure in a mod where somebody ends up in a clinic with a battery burn. It doesn't matter that it was an extreme set up; those technical details which are lost to even 95% of the vaping community would be completely ignored by the general population. Think we have problems dealing with junk science and all the lies the politicians use against us .... ....
There was already that *one* "exploding e-cigarette" story that's been floating around for .. what a year now ? Even though, from what I can tell it was because of a short in a custom mod, all the general population hears again and again is that an e-cigarette exploded. 1 out of a million(s)+ and the negative news story just won't die.

And yes there is dual PBusardo's going on
on the left is the work horse. I received it 2012 for well work. It has taken a serious beating such as four hard system fails, dropped, slapped, slept on, water damaged, and i think about 356 hard drive formats -- still has all original parts, and the batter still gives me four hours use.
On the right: It is my new toy santa brought me, windows 7 ultimate and running fast and happy

I'm glad you posted that Jables. I've been drooling over glass tips for close to a year, and the light bulb finally lit up. There's a few glass blowers in this area, so I'll be going to visit them to see what they can come up with.

lol I'll update when my package comes!Not vapemail, but at tonights meet Sol and I got a phoenix XL, a Vision Eternity and a Vivi rebuildable tank annnnd won another Phoenix XL via raffle (\o/). So far the Eternity is working out dandy as a dripper out of box, haven't tried the cartridge dealy (not sure if we will tbh....cartridge meh). No opinion on the rebuildable tank yet.

I've tried the twisted wire. Had no issues, but then again, I wrapped more coils to make up for the drop in resistance. I wouldn't say it was truly a dual coil, since the wire was in contact with itself in many spots, but it was easier to establish a good evenly-burning coil. It was just too much of a bugger to keep doing it consistently. Generally I'll twist up some wire only after I've spent three hours trying to get a single-wire coil firing properly and failing. I find they gunk up a lot quicker too.
Protip: Run your twisted wire through some heat after you twist it. Gets rid of some of the work-hardening and makes it much easier to get it to stay put.
Protip 2: Run your twisted coil on a Provari if you have one. It'll pitch a fit if it detects overcurrent conditions. Otherwise, I'd try a thicker wire or trying to finesse a 32 gauge coil into working order, if you have the patience.

No show & tell for me today. My Halo juice shipped out Thursday & was to be delivered today. I even paid extra for express post. It's sitting in Mississauga, still, been there since Thursday. 
Trying the vivi rebuildable mop head now, it has serious wicking issues. Once the drop I put directly on wick is cooked it's not drawing any liquid to coil. Nasty dry hits. I'll have to tinker with it a bit now, but out of box it's getting thumbs down.
Mike check out Zen~'s coil wrapping video (earlier in this thread). If I can do you will be an instant pro wrapper
Nice surprise, CP came through. I got my Halo juice from canvape, and this stuff is to die for.
Any one who is curios about it, all I can say is "Just do it" Some of the best juice I've had and will definitely get more.

I don't think I'd watched that one before, but I've seen a similar one where he was demonstrating the technique at a picnic or something. I don't think I've had an issue with a coil since. At least, not one that isn't solvable with a few judicious pokes and prods, at any rate.
Back on topic, I've got an order of Pluid coming my way at some point.
got a mini vivi, boge f16 carto tank, bridgeless atty and some dekang watermelon..
Got a black MVP. And I love it. I really like box style mods. This is a solid device and not to big. LOVE IT
