Mud, so true, I remember the first day I logged on here and saw those "savings" banners, we'd just quit (and $400 lighter in the bank account getting juice and gear for me and Ed) and though yeah, it was $8 a carton plus a $80 machine every six months or so..this is SO NOT going to save us money. *lol*

Well I am one of those that is truly realizing some savings. Being I smoked name brand analogs at $4.50 per pack carton price. I have kept up with my Vapespenditures carefully and while I have gone absolutely crazy I am still in the black. It would be a lot better if I had not become a self-proclaimed messiah for the industry. I have been buying starter kits and giving them to friends and relatives. To date actually more than half of what I have spent has been givin to ashtray breaths. I have a app that allows for my expenditures to be calculated providing a truer savings figure. To date:
Not smoked 9508 death sticks
Money saved 2139.30
vape spendings $749.69
overall still saved $1389.61
And that is just for roughly 6 1/2 months

I haven't kept any figures, but I do know I was spending $176/mo for cigarettes, come hell or high water -- if the check was tight, we just had to buy less food, because no way could I smoke fewer cigarettes! Now, if a check is tight, I can get by with $23 for ejuice, which beats the stuffing out of $88 for cigarettes (in a pay-period).
Also... when I was smoking, all our "disposable" cash went up in smoke; since I started vaping, my husband has been able to return, in a small way, to his coin-collecting hobby -- completely impossible when $176/mo had to be allocated for smoking.
If a check is better than expected, I can spend more, buy some hardware goodies or something... but I don't *have to*, as I did with cigarettes.

our mailperson smokes,,,and when she's got a delivery at the door..she and I will discuss the vaping, it's my greatest fear she'll stop smoking, vape and then take my vape mail *lol*
not really I'm happy to get new converts every day...sent a lady at Kroger yesterday getting the last drags desperately at the sliding doors entry of the store..mumbling "dang this" and "what's that!" as I blew a cloud going into the store's foyer...she was on her way to the B&M with a card of mine with iStick and V2 and the ebay distributor I use in a few minutes after I talked with her. That's one of the next best thing to vaping after being free from cigs..is helping others that want to get that evil monkey off their backs too.
