Vaping more irritating than Analogs.. Help

I have an irritated throat right now due to a cold, but I also noticed that when I vape it irritates my throat and when I have an analog it doesn't feel irritate at all.

Is it because I'm new to vaping? I really don't want to fall back full time on analogs until my cold is gone.

Can anyone help me understand so I can stick to vaping.

I am trying different mg right now (36 to 16) to find my level but even a 16 mg irritates and for me that's not high enough.

the ones with no nic in it work fine no irritation, I use those in between nic vaping cause I am still having a hard time with the analog habit so i vape non nic to break the wanna keep smoking analogs.

Should I maybe try just a vg base to see if that helps or it won't make a difference.

Could be the PG, many have allergies.

How do you inhale? I inhale vape differently than I do smoke. I draw the vape into my mouth and then inhale as opposed to directly inhaling from the PV.

The juices I had with a high PG level really irritated my throat so I stick to juices with a higher VG level.
