It's been 16 days now and I don't miss the analogs at all. Problem is, if it is a problem, that I find that I am vaping a lot and by a lot I mean pretty much all the time. Of course I don't mean continuously but one of the cool things about vaping is that its always available (usb pass through or in the pocket) and I'm no longer restricted to when and where I can smoke. I was using nicotine lozenges to make it through long periods stuck in a client's office where I couldn't smoke so I am sure that I have conditioned myself to a steady trickle of nicotine but the difference is that the lozenges were not enjoyable, just a necessity. Right now I'm cutting myself a break since I've seemed to have easily broken the analog habit but it seems that if anything I'm enjoying this new "habit" too much!

LOL,,,I was crazy vaping when I first started, but it did taper off for me. One thing I have noticed that astounds me is that I don't have that "desperate need" that I did with analogs. Sometimes I'll have it around my neck (yes, it is on a laynard around my neck) for hours and not even think about it until I get a nicotine craving and then a few puffs and I'm right back to what I was doing before the craving hit. Before I couldn't be in a store or the mall for more than an hour before I had to leave to smoke. While I don't usually stealth vape, I can and that makes alot of difference for my psychologically. So, I wouldn't worry about the excessive vaping now,,,it most likely will slack off. If you are worried about more nicotine dependence, just lower the nic while you are enjoying vaping.

Yep, that seems to be the general consensus around here. At least you're no longer putting thousands of harmful chemicals in you.. I'm still waiting for the tapering off to happen, but I enjoy it too much. I'm addicted to RY4 and Cuban Cigar. I tend to lean to the tobacco flavors. There are a few fruit flavors I enjoy, but the sweet candy stuff is a little too much for me.

Maybe you could lower the nicotine strength you're using if you're doing it all the time. I purposely didn't buy a passthru because I am at a computer all day at work and all evening at home. I'm lucky that I can vape at work but I still leave my desk and go to the storage warehouse room to do it. I am trying not to escalate my nicotine habit and so far have done OK at that.

Best way to look at it is like a kid who has just had their tonsils out. You can eat all the ice cream you want, but you CAN'T have any solid food. In your first month, vape as much as you want as often as you want. One of the key factors to transitioning to vaping is making sure that it's more readily available and convenient than cancer sticks. Eventually the psychological cravings for the habit will diminish and change a bit, and that's when you're at the right point for a dosage or usage reduction (if it's your intent to quit altogether - I'm vaping and will continue to vape until i decide to give up nicotine or the FDA pulls my reo mini from my cold, dead hands).

Ditto here.

I've been vaping constantly and worried about the same thing. I just feel that my mind/body needs to do this right now until I've been off the smokes for awhile and finished with all the withdrawal and habit changing. The more I read, the more I see people who eventually taper off to a more sedate pace. If I don't, heck, at least it's not cigarettes. :)
