Well I bought my alien 220 watt 2 days ago and have been using it at a hundred watts . Anyway decided to bite the bullet and try my cloud beast at 220 watts full power. It's a nice vape . I'm using the innokin 30 amp batteries which I believe have a 20 amp continuous discharge rate. Didn't blow up or anything. Just really wanted to try the alien out to see what it could do. Awsome.

Only way you can is if you use HB6 batts and never let them get below 3.7 volts.
with those batts either
1) it won't put out near 220 watts anyway
2) batt could fail, vent, or be damaged
3) mod will throw up errors

So @pfaber11 how did your MOD react firing it at that wattage? Did it actually hit 220 watts?
Not the OP but I have hit 220w on my G-Priv with REAL 30A LG batteries by accident when the temp lock was off and with a T10 coil in a Cloud beast, it sucked. Harsh, hot and the coil would likely be toast pretty quickly. Surprisingly I didn't notice a pulsing type vape like my Snow Wolf 200.
Interesting @BreSha6869 because the OP said it was nice and I am curious to what the Aliens display said. Personally I doubt I would ever fire a coil with the wattage at 220 without using a TC coil but that is just me. My Alien with a Baby beast and X4 coils gets fired at 30 Watts presently.
I just got an Alien 220 a few days ago, and I haven't been above 85 watts. Then again, my Samsung 25r batts can't handle it that high anyway. But it's still an awesome MOD.
I don't do it in normal vaping, but I do it for testing. and I always sue LG HB6 batts for testing these high wattages in dual mods and never let them drop below 4 volts. when they do I charge them up and continue testing later. I need to get more LG Hb6 batts LMAO

Well it was a warm vape and plenty of vapour. Was it actually firing at 220 watts I don't know but I think it was close to it. Much prefer it at 100 watts. Really just wanted to try it. The coil I'm using says can be used upto 260 watts. No dry hits.
I didn't look at the screen when I did it so can't say what the screen was doing. The way I see it is they are selling thousands of the aliens and most know next to nothing about batteries will do this if they've got a cloud beast or similar tank. Human nature .
My batteries are Innokin 30 amp which I got from vaporized which is a shop local to me. It appears they are rewraped sanyo batteries with a 22 AMP continuous drain rating. Anyway have a nice day.
By the way although the vape was quite warm it was an exceptable vape and there was no overheating or burning of coils . I'll be keeping a look out to see if I can find some lg hb6 batteries locally. We've got at least 10 vape shops where I live 3 within walking distance the others a short bus ride away. Hopefully can find some.
I love my Alien too. Best vape I've ever had. I tried a couple of hits off the gx350 while I was in the store but didn't like the feel of it. So it was a choice between the marshal G320 and the Alien and the guy in the shop thought the Alien Was better quality and they were doing a deal with the cloud beast which they weren't doing with the marshal. Anyhow glad I got what I've got.

What I really like about the Alien is how solid it feels in your hand when you hit the fire bar. I do not like the earlier versions that feel like a pricing gun in your hand.
Agree with Steve. The Alien 220 feels awesome in my hand. My 200 watt Kbox feels OK, but not like the Alien.
