So it is just some guy who says it? I guess some guy will pay for a new mod for @pfaber11 when he fries his mod using it. Cool
First, it was properly tested. Second, usb charging doesn't work the way you seem to believe. The charger is in the mod. The wall wart is simply an adapter. The mod will draw what it needs and the adapter must be equipped to handle the current draw. Thus, a higher rated wall wart is always preferable. It'll heat up less, and a 2 amp adapter would not cause a 1 amp mod to charge any higher than 1 amp.

Yes see your point steve will be using 1 amp charging. Better safe than sorry.
Actually, no. By using an underrated wall adapter (the charger itself is built into the mod) you risk it heating up too much and failing. The mod will draw the amps it needs, the adapter will try to provide said current whether it's equipped to handle it or not.

Went to bed last night and everything Alien wise was great. woke up this morning and the screen would not come on , still fired though. Played around with it to make sure it wasn't in stealth mode and it wasn't. Took it back to retailer and after looking at it and making a phone call decided they would replace it. I only had it a week . Anyway got a new one so all is good.
Anybody had anything similar happen to their Alien 220. I only expect my mods to last 6 months before I buy another one and I've got five including the alien and all the others are still working . Hopefully this is a one off.
Vape on .
