Hello everyone, this looks like a great forum :D

I want to get off of the rollies and on to vaping full-time. I bought a very cheap e-cigarette a while ago, it's OK but doesn't give much vap and the battery is shoddy BUT I do enjoy it (when it is charged and has a newflavour-thingy on it (you can't refill it so is it still a cartomiser? lol).

I like the look the Jacvapour, expecially the PCC but from my limited knowledge I understand it isn't compatible with the majority of UK stuff???

That said I also really like the look of some of the kits that aren't so "cigarette looking". I haven't got a huge amount of money so hoping to spend £35 or less on a kit.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Thanks
Sam

Hi and welcome to ECF. Here's a highly regarded vendor with a great starter kit. Battery info- 100 mah=1 hr Vaping before recharge.
The VE Riva 1100 Deluxe Kit £34.95 - Deluxe Vaping Kits - Riva 1100 Kit Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid
Wait unti Chrissie chimes in as he has a 10% discount code.
Best of Luck.

Thansk for that, that is actually the one I have been looking at instead of the jacvapour.

Is it difficult to refill these things?

The Cartomizers you just fill until the filler is "slushie" looking. With the Clearomizer you just unscrew drip tip, fill with juice, replace drip tip and vape. The Riva fires at 3.7 volts and is 510 threaded so accessories/ parts are easy to find. On my IPhone and can't post vid but google "PBusardo Kgo YouTube" for a review- make sure the review is NOT the Kgo variable volt. Riva is identical to the Kgo.

Samster -

I am relatively new to vaping (about 2 months), and my experience is limited to a Blu kit (which I don't recommend) and several Ego style batteries with various cartomizers, atomizers, and tanks. I vastly prefer the Ego style batteries over the smaller cigarette sized kits. Vapor and flavor production is much better with the better batteries and you also don't have to swap batteries several times daily.

With respect to Ego batteries, I have in my arsenal Joye Ego-T batteries, Joye Ego-C batteries, Joye Ego-C Twist battteries and Vision Spinner batteries. My preference lies with the Vision Spinner.

If you can afford it, get a variable voltage set up - like I said, I prefer the Vision Spinner over the Ego-C Twist. The reason for this is that the Vision Spinner appears and feels better built, it's regulation of voltage is much more accurate than the Ego-C Twist, and it is also a few bucks cheaper than the Ego setups.

My preference on juice delivery system with the Vision Spinner is currently the Vision Mini Vivi Nova - pretty darn good flavor and great vapor production. I like the 2.4 ohm heads at about 4.3 volts.

A full setup - two vision spinner batteries, two Mini Vivi Novas, a USB charger, and a bottle of juice is probably gonna run you about $90USD - sorry that I'm not sure how that translates to pounds.

Best regards,

Chris

For small form factors, Joyetech e-Go has the slickest designs but their products tend to leak. Kgo and Gogo may work better for you. A 510 connection will give the most options for cartomizers and clearomizers. For the latter, Vision's Vivi Nova (mini or regular) or Kanger T2 or T3 are high quality, don't leak and have replaceable heads (stick to low resistance for non-Variable Voltage batteries). Good luck!
