I'm already hooked on one drug, I really don't want to take a combo to get the same pleasure. I especially however don't want to go back to inhaling a combination of 100.000 chemicals to feel the nicotine. Any healthier alternatives ? I heard drinking a lot of water helps, but up until now it only helped with my ecig associated dehydration/
Ok first off, dramamine is harmless; it's an antihistamine; I've taken it at bedtime for 30 yrs, because it causes the heavy-eyes better than benadryl (sominex, same drug as benadryl).
2nd, cigarettes have about 4,000 chemicals, not 100,000.
3rd, ginger is as effective for nausea (or motion sickness) as dramamine, if not moreso.
4th; you definitely need lower than 12mg, if 12mg makes you sick; 12mg made me sick too. If 6mg is too weak, then get both and mix them to make 9mg.
Also.. has anyone mentioned WTA? It contains more of the stuff that is somewhat addictive that is in cigarettes, but is still MILES safer than smoking. Many of us who couldn't get this done using plain nicotine, use WTA, which really works.
And finally... however you did things as a smoker is TOTALLY IRRELEVANT. This isn't smoking, it's vaping, with vapor, which is not smoke, will not absorb like smoke, and shouldn't even be inhaled in the same way as smoke.
Bottom line is, if it makes you nauseous, then it's not working correctly; you either need less nicotine, or less chainvaping. I couldn't do without the chainvaping when I started, so I had to go to 6mg. As soon as I quit smoking, I had to go to 8mg, then 9mg, then 10mg; nowadays I'm at about 10.5mg, with WTA, and I don't chainvape as a rule -- only now and then.
Oh and also... drinking a lot of water is only good if you don't also drink anything with caffeine or alcohol; coconut water is more useful for hydration purposes, because you don't have to drink as much to get and stay hydrated, which means less ......, which means less dehydration/mayhem to your electrolytes.
