Hey guys,

First of all, I would just like to say that I really appreciate the existence of these forums. They've really detoured me from analogs. I have a few questions. First off, I bought an Joye Ego and I LOVE it!! I'm waiting for my carts to come from vaporkings, so I'm puffing on the stock tobacco packs they ship with it. They're actually not too bad! Does anyone know the Nicotine content of the ones bundled with it? I'm having trouble.. I smoke nearly a pack a day of Marlboro Mediums. And I'm trying to figure out how to "regulate" my vaping sessions. I don't want to OD or feel like crap on smoking. Someone told me to take a drag every hour or so. But I smoke a cigarette at least every hour so that doesn't really fit with me well. Can anyone give me some insight? I have the urge to puff on this thing every few minutes but I don't want to get more Nicotine than I'm use to. Thanks guys.

I take 3-6 drags every 10 or 15 minutes or at work it is more like 2-3 drags every 10 min and I set it down. I have the ecig on my desk at work but at home I leave it in another room so I have to get up and walk to it to vape. That keeps me from vaping all the time or vaping long sessions. If you are concerned about how much you are vaping, buy some lower nic juice too and you could use that when you are vaping a lot. Cartomizers might be useful for that - load one up with lower nic juice and switch to that if you feel you are overdoing it. Some simple stuffing-type cartos are the Boge soft-cap ones and they come in standard resistance or with an Ego you could use the hotter LR ones. Fill one well and keep it damp and you can get a week or more use out of one. If the drag gets hard and you can't see light through the center air channel, try to straighten it gently with a very straight unbent small paper clip. One I used 1/2 the time (alternating with another carto) lasted me a month though I did have to straightent he air channel a few times.

To use a carto on the Ego you'll probably have to remove the cone or use a 510 extender to lift the carto above the cone. There are more exotic cartos - stuffingless ones that need a syringe to fill. The clear ones are a bit flaky - can fall apart or crack. The metal ones can be real tricky to clean. Either could have primer on the internal atty. For simple, try the stuffing kind first.

Once an hour? I take a hit or two every few minutes all day long. The only time I got too much nic was when I got a mouthful of juice. The prefilled carts come in a few different strengths and it's hard to tell which one you have. Some are marked on the wrapper, others aren't. From what I've seen they usually put either a few differents strengths, or they're all 16mg.

I puff on my 808 endlessly throughout the day for the first week and now im trying to sit it down more often, but im sure youll figure out what you need. i like the above suggestion of putting it in a different room.i put my analogs down the day i started vaping and have not turned back , i get urges from time to time but a good vape does that in.

I have been vaping for 53 days now. I typically vap for a few minutes (10 to 20 puffs) every 10 to 20 minutes. I'm using 24 mg nicotine level juice. I have gotten to much a couple of times but as the days go by I'm finding it easier to tell when I'm vaping to much and set it down for awhile. I plan on cutting down the Nic level to 18 so I can vap more often as I REALLY enjoy vaping.

It is my opinion that you should vape as much as you need to get you off the cigs in the beginning. You are not getting anywhere near the nicotine and none of the other chemicals that are in cigs. Remember that the strength of any liquid is per ml so you have to vape an entire ml to actually get that many mgs of nicotine.
