Their choice but I get a lot more done in a day if I don't go outside. Also much less apt to cost them time if/when I am sick. Simple math.

During my working life I was rarely sick, despite the sales pitch by the antis. However, being a 2-3 PAD smoker, they lost a lot of time on smoke breaks. That being said, I spent a lot of years as a salaried employee working 50-60 hour weeks so I deserved my breaks.

If a whiner complains, will offices toss the whiner a quarter and tell him/her to call someone who cares (like they SHOULD DO) or will the business slither to lows of PC and go back to the old routine of smoke breaks, morning hacking, antsy meetings, and the rest of the scenario...
Just once I would love to hear of businesses standing up for their individual rights, their workers individual rights (who are stuck there 24/7) and the rights of the business owners themselves. That's what our country needs. Backbone.
