Vaping on a Cruise

I just got off a cruise ship that started a new no-smoking in room or on balcony policy the day we sailed.

I happily vaped all week anywhere on the ship (except the main dining room, seemed tacky,) without an issue. It was nice to sit in the martini area and have my e-cig to puff on while drinking my martinis.

I had a couple of crew members/staff ask me about it. One asked to make sure it wasn't a cigarette and one asked because he is interested. (I talked to him about it for awhile and told him about this place!)

Watching all the smokers huddled in the very few areas of the ship they were able to smoke was very rewarding for me.

I'm told some cruise lines are forcing vapers to the same areas as smokers have, only. I won't be sailing on those lines.

Awesomeness! I feel so free now!

Princess has been our favorite cruiseline for a while. It was nice to know that they chose not to include vaping with their new no smoking policy so we can continue to sail with them. Glad to hear you had such a good cruise

I don't take cruises
However, if I did...I would email the Princess management and express many appreciate their decision not to include vaping with their no smoking policy.
