The comments, on the other hand, are enough to make your blood boil. Some serious ignorance going on in there.

I totally agree.
The problem as I see it is, when someone is vaping where it is not permitted. It brings out a lot of self righteous zealots that raises the temperature of the conversation. This in turn forces companies to put in unfavourable rules where there were none before.

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

It isn't hard to obey no smoking regulations. But really, one never hears about somebody getting caught smoking ciggs in a no smoking area. Just vapers it seems. But that is an indication of the weird times in which we live, ain't it? Ignorance reigns supreme.

I have to confess to vaping in the biffy on AC more than a few times. You would be surprised at how many stewardesses will look the other way. No harm, no foul. But be prepared to be exposed as an enemy to humankind if you get caught. Purge the heretic!!!

Yech, dude vaping is inconsiderate to the rest of us, bro just double haul and hold, no vapor breathed out and nobody has to know about it. All these donkeys that buy from Flea Markets with no directions are just gonna get the hammer brought down on the rest of us that actually show some respect for the hardware and other people.

I remember flying Air Canada from Dorval to Halifax in 1988. On my way to boot camp in Cornwallis. I must have chain smoked the entire way. Times have changed.
Later in 1996 I was flying on an Air France. 10 hour flight. Paris to Nairobi. I was in the smoking section in the middle of a 747. As soon as we were at altitiude the no smoking light came off and people right left and center from me lit up their Gitanes. I begged the Sterwardess(...oops...Flight Attendant. See "Times have changed) to move me to a no smoking section. She kindly did. It was the only time in my life I wanted to GET AWAY from smokers.

Yup folks. Times have changed. Anyone watch "Harold and Kumar escape from Guantanamo Bay?" Nowadays they could easily scream back at the passengers....."IT'S ONLY A VAPING DEVICE!"

After spending most of my life on airplanes....I can honestly say I haven't been on one since I quit smoking and started vaping. The first thing we did in the military when we hit the tarmac was light up. I'm pretty sure I will respect the law as to E-cigs. Although I might sneak a puff in the WC on those long hauls. Shhhhhhhh.
