Hi - new to vaping about 2 weeks now but I still havent put down the analogs totally.

Evenings/weekends - I like to sit out in the backyard and swig down a beer or two. The vapor is thin and disappears quickly (sometimes dont even see it) so my brain says I didnt even have a hit and eventually end up grabbing an analog to feel satisfied.

Any long time users have suggestions for vaping outdoors?

We need some more information. What type of e-cig, are you using juice?

Most of the prefilled carts won't give off a lot of vapor, and won't last long either. Buying juice is the best, and most economical way to go. I mix my juice with VG (Glycerin). The VG blows clouds of vapor, but remember that if you cut your juice with VG, you also cut down the nicotine level in the original juice.

Give us some more information, and maybe we can have you burying the neighborhood in vapor before you know it.

Well, I have the VX2 (J1118), M402, and Titan 510.

Only using store bought flavor (PG) juices for now. Have some VG samples on order.

I'm happy with all 3 models indoors, but when I go outside the vapor just goes away too quickly. We are having 10-20 MPH winds right now and I can barely see any vapor from the exhale. But I grab an analog and yeah it goes quick in the wind too but I still see it which tells my brain I had a satisfying hit.

Both the VX2 and the 510 should give you good vapor. What I'd recommend though, is to get a few manual batteries for the 510 though if you don't already have some. Then I'd use a mouthpiece with no cart in it. Then drip 3 or so drops of your liquid onto the atomizer and vape away. Dripping seems to produce the most vapor and flavor for me. And, the 3 or so drops tend to last about as long as a regular cigarette as well.

I find the vapour to be pretty good outside. Mind you I only smoke VG (Ecopure) which is miles better than the PG cartridges anyway. When I smoke indoors the vapour even lingers for a minute or so.

I think it also depends on the weather. Even cigarette smoke vanishes when there's a breeze. On the other hand cold weather is going to up the vapour you get.

I can only comment on the 402 since I don't have the others. I think the juice is your issue. Try picking up some VG. Take a very small amount of juice in a separate container, and mix 50 / 50 with VG and see what happens. I think you'll be pleased with the vapor. I get my VG from CVS Pharmacy, in the cosmetic, skin care section. (Pure Glycern USP)

I also find loads of vapor when the humidity is high. Living in Houston, where the humidity is usually in the 80% to 90% range seems to give the vapor a boot in the .....

Thanks for the replies!

So it sounds like VG is the answer. I dont mix my own yet, but have bought some store bought VG samples along with their PG counter parts. ie

bannana
cherry
licorice

all in 3ml samples in PG and VG so I can tell the difference.

It was mentioned that VG will cut the nicotine, which is probably good cause I've been vaping much more than I should LOL

I love the vapor output from the 510 but it seems thin, guessing the VG will make it more full/thick?

Will using the VG vs PG wear out the atty quicker, since its a thicker vapor?

I'm learning as quick as I can and appreciate all your input. I 'think' VG will be my savior and help me put these analogs down. I may have to learn how to mix my own but have you guys checked out nuvape.com? they have a ton of flavors you can get in PG or VG in your choice of strength and get 3ml samples too not to mention free shipping.

Actually, anything you use to cut your juice will decrease the nic level. I've been using VG since I started vaping, and my atomizers are just fine.

I have had the same experience. I find that my 401s and 901s both perform a lot better inside. When I go outside at work for the normal "smoke" break, I find that the vapor and hit is much less satisfactory. Her in Florida, outside means 80+ degrees, hot sun and high relative humidity. SO it must be the heat or the humidity. In my garage at night, the humidity is still there, but the temp is in the high 70s and the vapor is great. I'm leaning towards higher temperatures reducing vapor.

I'm not cutting the juice, I'm buying the VG (store bought) from the internet.

I'll have to learn how to make my own....but nuvape.com has tons of flavors ready to go in PG or VG.

This reminds me of two infomercials I saw on a particular brand of ecig. I'm not going to mention the name as that is not necessary. In both videos the vaporer was vaping outside. The resulting vapor that was produced looked pathetic especially since they were trying to compare it to a real cig. At that time I was still in the researching phase and frankly those infomercials were a turn-off. For me, lots of vapor is even more satisfying than a good throat hit. Though a combo of the two is ideal :)

Fast forward to the present and I have tried many different models. My current fave is the 510 but I sometimes still fall back on a 901 when I want a good flavor hit. Those two are now my staples and both produce good amounts of vapor. The 510 is a bit better on the vapor production along with its consistency makes it my favorite. I also use a pg/vg mix so the vapor is good both inside and outside. Even in low humidity the vg addition does help with vapor production.

I don't know what it is but I have the same experience whenever I'm outside or even in the car with windows down. I'm using both a 901 and 510 with both prefilled and self-filled carts. Haven't tried PG vs VG. Been the same issue with either 70 or 90 degree weather and 0 to 90% humidity.

I don't wonder if when I'm at home sitting in front of tv/computer/book I am just more relaxed and savoring it more.

If someone finds a solution I would be very interested!!!

I had this problem, but I just popped to the corner store today picked up some G and did a 50/50 mix wit a little bit of water to thin it out since it was rather thick and its giving off tons of vapor.

I was really disapointed with the lack of it when outdoors but now I am getting more than an analog lol.

I use 36mg vapor so cutting it 50/50 is fine for me as long as you have some high strength stuff
