Vaping plus A/C=ice cold!

I was vaping in my car with the A/C basting, My face froze up after like 10 minutes if that. When I stopped vaping it wasn't as cold, I figured my car's A/C was dying so to test my theory I started vaping again and I was freezing. So here's a good tip to do if your dying.

yea, I noticed when i was fishing in really heavy winds, the vapor blew back into my face and it was really cold, which was interesting because the cart was hot as hell and my body is damn close to 100 degrees. its like when you feel alcohol evaporate, its just a cool/cold feeling. I was getting scented a/c in my face in 15-25mph gusts

At a guess:

It's a humectant, so it's sucking the fluid away from your skin, increasing apparent evaporation. We perspire to keep cool by evaporation. If you put alcohol on your finger you can feel it evaporate almost instantly and it feels quite cold, even though it's room-temp. Same principle.

You could/would get that same effect from most liquids in a fine mist that evaporate. They use very fine mist systems to keep people cool at sporting events.

This explains alot as to why my throat is always dry and I drink water practically all day as I did even before vapeing. People have been asking me what is wrong with my voice, that is the only down side to vapeing for me!

Lol well I believe it is like refrigerant, it just sucks the heat right away from that area. I do HVAC=heating ventelation and A/C and we do a lot of stuff with refrigerant, but I believe Addy is right. It might work on the same principle as she stated.

Not an azeotrope.

More like an evaporative cooler than a refrigerant... It takes energy to change state, and that energy needs to come from some where.

Air "conditioning" removes moisture from the air too, lowering the humidity in the "conditioned" zone.

Evaporative rate goes up as humidity goes down.

Psychrometrics is probably the next-stop after evaporative cooling for those interested in delving deeper into the phenomena.

Oh yes Leeshor I totally agree and I am not complaining a bit!
Leaford if I drink more water I will be ...... all the time, acckkkk I am just one big water balloon now. I don't even have room for food, maybe that is the trick to weight loss and vapeing I have been hearing about!
