Leaving my setup in the car on cold Wisconsin nights

I suppose it's a little late to be asking this question but will vaping while the unit is still freezing cold damage my equipment. I have a Kanger Aerotank on an Innokin Cool Fire II and am not allowed to take it in with me to my 2nd shift job. I've noticed that when I go to vape after work it seems like things don't work quite as well as they should or normally do. Also it has been cold enough that sometimes the tip will freeze to my lips so usually I have to hold that in my hands for a while. Should I get some kind of insulated case to keep it in while I am at work or wait until things warm up a bit before vaping. I like to vape in the car on the way to work but I don't know if leaving my stuff in the car at these cold temperatures are going to damage my equipment.

Unless the liquid freezes it won't hurt anything. If it ever actually gets cold enough to freeze the liquid though it's going to break the tank (Think frozen pipes in your house). Frozen batteries don't work quite as well though, but they aren't damaged and will work fine once they are back to room temperature.

Other than that it won't damage anything. It will be a LOT harder to vape at first. Remember, these things work by boiling the liquid, so if the liquid is ice cold it's going to be harder and take longer to heat it up enough to convert to vapor. Throw in cold batteries that give a weak charge and it's not going to vape well.

Personally, I think the idea of an insulated case is really good. The closer you can keep everything to room temperature the better it will work.
