Hi Every1,

I usually use rba but last month my ohm meter broke down so I started using my PT2 again while waiting for a new ohm meter , the problem is that the post office in my country was on a very long strike , not to mention the holidays (here most are on October) ... , anyway I got stuck with only 1 atomizer and I am really sick and tired of those leakings , makes me wanna build my rba but I don't want to do that without an ohm meter!
unless.... I've been thinking , perhaps the best solution here is to use the rba with an ego device , sure it looks ridiculous but I'm starting to crave badly

OK, I`m going to say it. You don`t have to have a meter to build coils.

What you do need is a full and complete knowledge of what they should do when you push the button. If they heat up correctly, you don`t see any hot legs, don`t touch the chamber or deck, and you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the battery you will be using will be safe with the expected ohms you are building, you`ll be good to go.

Dare I say I do it all the time. Its like baking a cake, once you have baked that cake enough times you really don`t need to look at the recipe anymore. (Umm, sure, I can bake a cake, LOL)

OF COURSE, if you don`t have the experience, the knowledge of what you are doing, or the confidence to do it correctly, PLEASE DO NOT BUILD WITHOUT A METER! If you gotta have it, you GOTTA HAVE IT.

PS,

I think if you wanted to put the RBA on the Ego battery? You would need to build it over 1.2-1.4 ohms for it to run at all, and if it runs, its going to really stress the battery out and may permanently damage it. Egos simply ar`nt made for high drain RBA`s.

Lastly, one thing Iv learned in vape land is that you have to be happy with what you got if its all you have. At least until you can upgrade. Focusing too much on the faults of what you have right now is just too much stress and not worth it. I use a mini PT2 at times and if it was all I had, I`d still be happy with it over smoking stinkies.

I have been building the exact same coil every time for 3 months. Single coil 28 ga kanthal 7 wraps on a 2 mm precision screwdriver. 1.5 ohms. every time.
Same here with the 28g and 7 wraps. It is usually 1.5 on the money....even though last week the ohm meter measured one out at 1.52, but that is so close I will still call it 1.5.
