I am new to vaping, but have been successful! I was off of analogs within a week!!! The expense of using the disposable ECigs caused me to buy a larger more permanent Ego vaping system.
Here's my problem, after using the Ego's, I can't breath!!! I mean, I can't get enough oxygen and feel like I'm suffocating. This has lasted for three days after stopping the Ego and going back to the disposable. Why is this happening and how do I fix the problem? A friend told me it was the juice I am using. Then a coworker said it was the battery causing it.
I WANT to use the Ego instead of the disposable because I will save money!!! But I can't do it if I can't breath!
Please help!
Any suggestions are appreciated!!!

Hi @Dodo0769 .

High VG juices can cause a symptom called "heavy lung" https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/search/2113337/?q=heavy+lung&o=relevance&c[node]=39

I vape juices around 50pg/50vg and don't have an issue. If you're using 80vg/20 pg or higher juices you could try getting a small bottle of higher pg juice, but I don't recommend higher than 50/50. It's not the battery.

Like "Sir" said, it could be a combination of things. Can I suggest something to you that helped me. I would go with a 30w iStick and either a Kangersubtank or Aspire Nautilus mini tank. Go with 50/50 like mentioned in Sir's post. Also depending on the NIC type you will want to cut that NIC content in half. It will give you a huge nicotine buzz that could make you sick. Also the chemicals in your eJuice could be doing that as well. (if not from a reputable source.) OTC juices at a gas station can be very unreputable and cause that type of sickness. The mod you are using? Is it a bottom or a top feeder. If you are using a top feeder you need to tilt it up to get the hits just right. Those are my suggestions for you. Good luck on your journey.

That is a pretty crazy thing to say (at first read) but there is every chance using a higher power e-cig might cause some minor problems compared to a disposable.
What you can do is deliberately set up your eGo to vape more gently by using higher resistance atomizers.
let's say a disposable vapes at 3-4 watts, and a Vanilla eGo at 7-8 watts. That's twice as much vapor. I vape at 14-15 watts (usually) so that's 4x as much vapor.

Win win for me. 4 x as much vapor for 4 x less money than a disposable.
Disposables would have cost me $3,000 a year, no problem and I'd still be smoking today.

As it is, I got used to vaping and everything fell into place, gradually. Some people can vape at 50 watts. It took me a year to get to 10 watts.

The switch from disposables to eGos caused me some trouble - I know what you're talking about. Don't blame the e-cig... customise the vape to suit your needs.

:)
