After quitting cigarettes for 2.5 years I stupidly got into Tsunami and Blu disposable ecigs

Well after throwing tons of $$ into the disposables i decided to get an eGo One XL and eleven flavors from Vape Wild

Last night i got the vape in and really struggled with leaking. After tightening all the pieces I realize that the leaking has stopped but i have another pretty big issue and that is visibility of juice in the tank

I dont know when my tank is getting to the point where it needs to be refilled. I can barely see anything inside the tank. I really wish they made the windows much bigger.

Anyone that has an eGo One can you please tell me some tips and tricks for using this device in general and some tips of when to know or how to tell that the ejuice needs to be refilled.

Glad to be joining the vaping community and the community here at ECF, threads here have really helped me get into the eGo One and VapeWild

I've never heard of that supplier, or an ego one XL. Is it variable voltage? It sounds like the supplier, Vape Wild, has their own kind of ecigarette made specifically for them. Your battery isn't causing leakage, that has to be coming from your tank. What kind of tank, or clearomizer are you using? Make sure the coil is screwed in tight enough. There are literally hundreds of kinds of clearos, but just a few basic ego batteries. You can buy a basic Vision Spinner with VV, and a 1300mah battery for about $20. A good beginners tank is the Evod Glass for $7.99. Your battery should have a 510 connection, so your USB charger should be fine. Check with www.Sweet-Vapes.com for the products I told you about if you keep having trouble, and they'll mail you that stuff within 5 days.

I have the eGo One 1100mah with the 1.8ml tank and found myself refilling at least 2-3 times a day. I wish they had made the window a little larger too. I assume it was designed to carry in your pocket or purse and the small window is for protection from breaks. My solution was to mate a Kangertech Subtank Nano to the eGo battery and it works great and has 3ml liquid capacity. I still use the eGo tank when I'm out and about and it's great to have a second tank. They do require different coils of coarse. You should be able to gauge how long the eGo tank will last before refilling after using it for a few days.

Welcome whatsupbras !

You definitely need to make sure the coil is tightened down in the eGo One. I find that when I unscrew the bottom the coil ends up in the tank rather than staying in the air control part. Don't know why this happens, but just make sure it is tightened really well and you shouldn't have a problem with leaking.

In terms of being able to see the juice level, that is my one big complaint about this piece. I have found that if I hold it in front of a light and turn it upside down I can see the juice level a little better as the juice flows to the other end of the tank. I really wish they would make the tank with bigger windows - same problem with the Delta II tank.

But, other than those problems (lol) I really like this piece. I use it when I'm running around - much easier than taking my big box mods.

I have the Ego one XL. It is hard to tell how low you are. Maybe Joyetech will make the tank windows bigger on the next model.

The best way to see how low you are is to do it in a nicely lit area. I turn mine side ways then flip it side ways the other way with the drip tip side going upside down Do it kinda slow but not at a snails pace. Just enough to see the liquid move in the tank through the windows. I look at the 3 windows directly (eye level) and level to the ground. You should see the juice level move past the windows. If the juice level is on the bottom window or lower I will refill mine.

Another tip for the Ego One XL. Turn the battery off ( 5 quick presses of the button) before you put it in your pocket. Doesn't take much pressure to push the button in. I had Ego One XL in my pocket during a movie at a theater. It drained the battery all the way. It will also burn all you e juice away too and possibly ruin your coil.
