I am leaving tomorrow for a vacation in Canada. What are the restrictions on vaping there. I know I can vape in my motel room, but what about in public?

I just returned from a 3 week stay in Canada. Had absolutely no problems or comments (negative) comments while I was there.

Now some will blast me for the following, but I vape conservatively in public, stepping away from crowds to be polite, never in restaurants, and I don't blow huge clouds.

I did get many questions from other vapers and some smokers about vaping in general and specifically about my REO bottom feeder.

Theres no problem at all, at least in quebec, do your things, and like he said just dont blow huge clouds in crowded retaurants, in doubt just politely ask, you might aswell use stealth method or go outside if you just cant hold youself. And most of all... hope you have good times and enjoy your vacations ! Mines over, oh that part is so painful..

You should have no issues. If you do, it will be by the uneducated. There really is no restrictions unless it is done by the establishment themselves. I personally am like ratchet and do vape conservatively just to avoid the altercations. But I have been to restaurants, lounges and bars, and have seen vapers enjoying their vapes. I do take mine on stage with me when we play.....have had no issues at all. Get some weird looks from some folks....but I just smile and ask if they want a hit?? LOL

Hi, Just got back from my holiday in Victoria. Had a wonderful time. I had no trouble vaping on the street and a sidewalk café. I only saw one other vaper.
But took the ferry over from Washington and an employee on the ferry said I could vape on the outside deck. I didn't though because they had no smoking signs posted and I didn't feel it was right to vape in a no smoking zone........I didn't want to give any other passengers an excuse to complain.
